Perfect for my use
I got this because I wanted a portable and easy to carry e ink device I can use for reading. I have a Kindle e-reader which I love but this is perfect for when I’m out or when I want to read on something lightweight and with one hand. I installed the Kindle app from the Google Play Store and downloaded my books. Everything works smoothly and perfectly well. The display is clear and paper-like. The battery life is excellent. I’m seeing one star reviews because people don’t do research before buying, you cannot use this to make calls as it's NOT a mobile phone! It does not have a SIM card slot!

This is my best friend now!
Pocketable, super white and crisp screen, almost doesn’t need the frontlight. This phone sized eink tablet is the best thing that I have bought so far, I use it almost as a phone replacement to reduce my screen time and my eye strain, I’m typing this review on it, it’s very responsive, fast (as far as eink can be) and reading in here is absolutely amazing. Since it’s android you can use any app available in Google Play Store (even though not all apps are optimized to eink or even to B&W).

DO NOT BUY!!!!!
DO NOT BUY I repeat, do not buy!! This is not a Kindle competitor, this is an extremely low quality manufacturer. The screen broke for absolutely no reason after 1 month of barely using the device. I Contacted the seller and they said it's not covered by warranty and want to charge me half the price of the device to fix the screen. I owned a kindle e-reader for 6 years and placed it in exactly the same backpack and it still works perfectly. I even have an extra protective Pouch for the Palma 2 but still the screen broke!! I also own a Remarkable 2 tablet for 3 years and also placed in the same backpack but never broke (even though it's 10 times larger). So me breaking the screen is absolutely unacceptable excuse by Boox as it was more protected than my other devices that last several years! Do not buy this, you will lose all your money. Go for a much cheaper kindle that will last longer, lots of people are complaining about the screen issue I wish I checked the reviews before falling for this scam. Thankfully Amazon returned and refunded my money.
