Storm season around the corner, everyone is installing generators! This gas hose with quick release is perfect for the job! It’s easy to install and convenient to use.Recommendations:- Install the quick release pointing downwards. This will help prevent water getting into the system.- Always keep the connectors covered when not in use. You don’t want debris or insects getting in. I keep the quick release converted with a plastic baggie tied off with a rubber band.- Make sure there is a bit of slack in the hose when it’s connected to a generator.- Lastly and obviously, keep the hose away from generator exhaust.

Just like the old one that lasted 15+ years. No problems putting it on.

This natural gas hose works well overall, however, it came dirty and there were signs of oxidation on the connectors.

I’m using this to connect a barbecue grill to a gas wall outlet. The grill is built into an outdoor counter and is stationary. Although the hose is flexible, It is much stiffer than the rubber hoses I used 30 years ago and I’m not sure it’s designed for repeated coiling and uncoiling.For my application it is great. It’s easy to route and came with the fittings I needed.

I hooked this up to my dryer to give me room to pull it out and make it easier to disconnect when I install the new flooring. It works great, I love the quick connect. It does come with one adapter to turn a 3/8" male flare into a 1/2" male flare, which I needed. On the other side, though, is a 1/2" female connector with no flare, so be prepared for that. I would up needing a quick run to Lowe's to get one more adapter.The hose is nice and long and seems very durable. I don't feel nervous about moving it around too much as it's very flexible. The connection is very easy to use, especially if you have experience with air compressors and their connectors.
