I follow the directions on the package which is 1 oz every 12 months. I keep my plant on my kitchen counter next to the sink which gets light from the window. It is also a convenient place to water it. I set the plant in the sink and gently water the plant and gently spray the leaves. I do this every three days. Then I replace it back on the tray that has small pebbles. So far so good. It seems to like it there.

Q: How much do I have to use for a small juniper bonsai with 2onz of soil ?

I would recommend just using a teaspoon for that small of an amount!
