I am very happy with my purchase! I have had it for a few days. I intended to put it in my garage because others commented on the noise and smells. Once in a while, I notice a smell, when I do, it smells like something is cooking and it is quiet. It is in my laundry room and I'm keeping it there. I run it at the end of the day, and I love not having to deal with stinky waste, fruit flies, and making trips outside to dump it in my green bin which also gets stinky and buggy. I love opening it when the cycle is complete and seeing that great compost. It did have a little residue stuck to the inside, but I ran the "clean" cycle and it cleaned it beautifully. Highly recommend!

We live in an area that requires all households to separate compost food/yard waste into a special trash bin. Took a chance on this countertop food compost/dehydrator when it was on lightning offer. It had pretty good non-amazon ratings.It’s pretty small and compact. You can see how it compares in size with our city issued scrap bin. Normally the bin would be filled in 2-3 days. This is 2 days of 5 adult sized humans worth of food scraps. It doesn’t have much of an odor. Smells a little like cooking food. It heats and cuts, then “ferments” dehydrates. It’s done in about 2-3 hours.A little bit of a learning curve, but overall, we’re pretty happy with it.

I use this composter every day for kitchen scraps, adding some shredded paper or dry leaves to balance browns and greens, plus a bit of EM. I run the “crush” or “ferment” mode at night, and by morning, it’s turned into fine compost. It’s quiet, odorless, and easy to use. I just wish it had a larger capacity to hold more food waste.

LOVE this little composter! I let it run overnight and wake up to compost in the morning! And no stink! This is so great! My only tiny con is that the capacity is kind of small, but I've kept the extra food scraps that don't fit overnight, while the machine is running, then in the morning I empty the machine and place the extras, and let it run while I'm at work -- all good! So convenient! I love that you can put compostable bags/paper in it!!

This thing is definitely whisper quite as advertised. I find my self looking in the window to confirm it is still running. The odor is nearly imperceptable. To quote my girlfriend, "it doesn't smell any worse than the garbage can" I barely smell it at all, unless i put my nose directly behind the filter. As for the composting, it also does as advertised. It does take a bit longer with extra soggy scraps. The machine cleaning is effortless and the bucket itself is dishwasher safe.

I’m very impressed with the performance of this electric composter. I used the composter twice so far in fertilizer mode and I am pleased with the result and ease of use, and how easy it is to clean. I would recommend this product.

I have purchased 2 of these machines back to back and no matter what I put in there, it jams very time without fail. It just doesn’t work right. I wouldn’t suggest this item to anyone. Just a big waste of money

I gave it a five star because of their customer service. My composter is good but one of the metal pieces from the agitator broke off and I reached out to them and they are going to replace it under warranty. The composter does what it’s supposed to and I been using it almost every day.
