Pipsqueak Yarn Whitey White

I bought my first PipSqueak yarn to make my grandson to be 20 years ago. He still loves his blanket today. I’ve made 3 more thru the years. When I found out that there was a great grandson on the way I knew I wanted more PipSqueak but thought probably wouldn’t be able to find it. But I did find it on Amazon. It’s a great yarn to work with and little ones love the softness.

This yarn makes the most beautiful baby blankets. The children in my life find comfort and joy with each blanket. The yarn washes up nicely and maintains its softness even with extensive use. Highly recommend for the wee ones in your life.

Great quality yarn.

I was using this to crochet together some knit strips into a blanket. That was fine and very easy to do - no struggles with the yarn. My daughter, who has sensory issues, loved the feel, so I ordered more to make her an eye mask and add more rows to her blanket. After a few washings, it is still soft and bright, but not quite as "puffy" as it was originally or in the blanket where it's just one row. It was a little difficult to work with on those two projects because it is hard to see the rows below. I was also using a small hook and I have a tight tension, so neither of those factors helped. I actually worked with a second strand that I later frogged just so that I could see where the stitches were and that solved the issue.The picture is a bit overbright (flash in a dark room) but you can kind of see her eyemask, the top border rows I added to the blanket at her request, and the join rows.

I LOVE this yarn!!!! I knit prayer shawls for church and 3 balls make a nice size shawl. They are often given to people who are ill or suffering a loss, and this yarn is so cuddly and warm, but not overly heavy in weight. I like to think of them wrapping up in a soft hug. The colors are very pretty. I especially like the striped cakes, as they work up in a very nice pattern, and 1 cake can make a shawl. I do not like it so much for crochet, as with the fuzziness it can be a bit hard to distinguish stitches. but items knit with it are lovely.

I love this yarn for knitting baby hats! It's very difficult with the nature of this yarn to grab dropped stitches or purl, but because it's so fluffy it's also very forgiving. I recommend using it for fairly simple garter stitch items, but it will give you a very soft and cute result! It's fairly stretchy, so consider than when sizing your patterns. My only complaint with this is that the yarn appears light yellow on my monitor but is actually a light green. Very cute though.Pros: Soft, pretty, forgiving, and perfect for baby hats and blankets.Cons: Not great for beginners, difficult for anything but simple stitches and color different from that displayed.

This yarn is fantastic for stocking stitch or garter stitch cuddly baby blankets. I wouldn't attempt knitting anything with a pattern, since the fluffiness of the yarn tends to obscure the pattern. However, I am more than pleased with the results for my project.

I had made my seven year old great granddaughter a blanket out of the pipsqueaks striped yarn that was in cakes and we all loved how soft this yarn is. My great granddaughter wears it as shawl and as a blanket all the time. She loves how soft it feels on her. It's a dream to crochet with because it is so soft. I bought this to make some scarves and and ear warmers. This purple is a bit darker than the purple in the stripes which I was glad of. You can't go wrong with this yarn, you'll not want to use any other yarn after crocheting with this, it is that soft. I've got more blankets to make now since my family has seen and felt this yarn. Which is fine with me, I love making thing's for my family that they love and want.
