This isn't what this product is intended for. HEOS units only function as Wi-Fi clients, not as repeaters. You should evaluate the strength and quality of your Wi-Fi signal in the trouble location and either deploy a repeater, or replace your primary access point as appropriate.

Q: How many watts per channel?

Thanks for your question. The HEOS Link is a preamp / HEOS controller. It has no built-in amplifier. World Wide Stereo is 43 years old and a proud authorized Denon HEOS dealer.

Q: Can this work with a dht-s716h to run wired rear surrounds in a 5.1 system?

No. HEOS zones are not analogous to surround zones. The only device I know of which supported HEOS units as wireless surrounds is the HEOS receiver, but I believe that is no longer manufactured after the switch to Denon Home branding.

Q: Does this version supprort Bluetooth as a external music source?

Yes, it does. I never use it that way, though, because the WiFi link is so much more stable and easy to use.
