Q: Would the star from the matching nativity set fit inside the stable?

No. The Christmas star that comes with the 10.5" set is 12.5" high and will not fit inside this manger.

Q: HELP!! & hurry please. love this stable.....but already bought figures 4" scale-----------------will they fit ok in this stable??

They will fit OK, we bought the 10" figurines which might have been too big, I really think the 7" ones would have been the best fit.

I bought the 10 inch and that size very well for me.

Q: Would the 10 inch or 14 inch be a better size to fit the Willow Tree nativity set?

The 10” stable is the perfect size for the Willow Tree nativity set ... the roof beam is 10” from the floor and the tallest shepherd is 8.5” tall (Joseph is a a little under 8”) the 14” stable is definitely too big for the Willow Tree figures. FWIW, I thought this was a little expensive, but when it arrived I realized how well-crafted this product really is ... much nicer than the plain Willow Tree cresh and worthy of the quality of the Willow Tree figures ... I am very satisfied with this product.
