I’ve tried so many products and have always been disappointed in one way or another. However, Hairstory is the real deal. My hair looks healthy without being weighed down and while the cost is a little high it works. So for me, that’s a win.

Great product. Really helps cut the grit & grime outta your hair. It’s also gentle & doesn’t strip the good stuff out with the bad.

I tried both this and the cleanser and I have to say that both were awful. This before care helps slightly, but not enough I would continually use it. My hair felt and looked slightly cleaner with this add on, but I would never buy it again.

Works great on scalp

this is a silly product with very small volume that is difficult to apply. you can get the same effect by applying glycolic acid and/or micellar water that comes in bulk to your scalp and very cheap. the whole point of new wash is the theory that your scalp is being over cleaned but then they sell you another product because it’s being undercleaned so the whole thing seems contradictory in order to sell you more stuff. I bought it because I was curious and now feel silly after spending money on this.

Did the trick! Started to get itchy & flaky scalp in between wash days. I use this once a week and my scalp is flake and itch free.

This product made my New Wash experience (which was already fantasic) SO MUCH BETTER!! I use it on the days that I wash and between washes. It's my fav new product that I can't live without. And...the prebiotics are the game changer - they smell nice and natural. I LOVE it!

Seal was broken and smells like straight vinegar. With vinegar not being listed in the ingredients kind of worried someone swapped the product out with vinegar or something sketch. Very gross.
