This is an excellent heating pad for sore neck and shoulders. Trying to arrange a rectangular pad to heat up those areas is always less than satisfactory, and the shape of this eliminates all those issues. The fabric is incredibly soft, which makes for a wonderfully comfortable feel. It's gets nice and warm in the neck and shoulder area, which is exactly what I wanted it for.
