We bought these due to the look they provide in clear light fixtures. When we put them in, there is a delay for them to come on. When I turn on a light switch, I want the lights to come on. We decided we wanted to return them. However, they want to charge us shipping!! I’m a prime customer so we received them free, but to send back, we have to pay. It’s not worth the money to send back so we’re stuck with them. Trying to warn others before purchasing!

I have bought literally hundreds of led bulbs over the years, always trying to get a natural incandescent glow simulation. This is definitely one of the best, if not the best I've seen. Warm and soft, but not that fake yellowy orange 2300k you usually get. The light has a soft glow, compared to harsh and directional like most LEDs usually are. After you hit the switch, it ramps up to full brightness, turn off is instantaneous. It doesn't seem to run hot either. The spiral filament must be the key to the way it illuminates omnidirectionally. If the price comes down a little, I will buy multiples, $10 is a bit high in my opinion. Shipping from China took 3 weeks.I give the color and light quality an A+ and I am a tough critic of bulbs.

This is a very attractive clear light bulb due to the design of the led filament. The light is truly warm white, which I like very much. I especially like the vintage tip on the top of the bulb. I am very pleased with the light, the construction, and the design. No problems with it at all, no flickering, no slow to warm up problems, dims just fine. It is standard size.Highly Recommended

These low wattage led bulbs are perfect when you don’t want the heat from less expensive incandescent light bulbs. For custom lighting application these are perfect. They are dimmable but not all dimmers work with a single low wattage bulbs so do your homework. If you’re using three or more on a the same circuit most any dimmer rated for led lights will work. ( picture shows the bulb dimmed about 80 percent.)

Several bulbs were broken (either the glass was cracked or loose) upon receipt. Also, the pattern of the spiral filament does not look like what is pictured. I imagined more of a helix pattern than a parallel spiral going up from the bottom. Overall, just not what I was expecting.

The Bulbs are quite good... however one of many I bought has started to die out (in a couple of weeks). Its starts bright but in a couple of minutes dims to almost 10%. The rest of the bulbs in the chandelier work well. Wish there was a way to get it replaced as I tossed out the package.

I bought this for a desk lamp my kid uses as his night light. It burned out after about 2 weeks of use. I expected LED to last longer. Liked it a lot while it worked.
