Great for various jobs. 2nd time purchasing one of these and it work exactly how you want it to. Being able to adjust flame/heat & the locking button definitely helps for longer jobs.

I wanted a blowtorch that I can run from bottled propane as I do not need it to be portable and this is the most economical way to purchase gas. It was not clear from the instructions that you need to use a high pressure regulator. When I tried to use the torch connected to the bottle using the regulator I use for other devices the flame would not stay ignited. I contacted Rothenberger direct and found them very helpful and they diagnosed the difficulty straightaway. Once I had obtained the correct regulator the torch works very well. It is easy to use and feels comfortable.
