Q: Body has deep cuts in the aluminum, will that effect it’s performance or will it leak?

Not sure what cuts in the body you are asking about. The unit I have looks to have been milled from a solid piece of aluminum and drilled out for the fittings. My unit has lasted for several years of dedicated airbrush use. As long as you take time to properly connect hoses and testing for leaks, you should not have any issues. Avoid over tightening the valve screws, its possible to strip it. Otherwise this has been a dependable leak free unit. I would buy again

yes it is very good. 4.5 x 1 x 1 all in inches.

My best guess China..majority of airbrush's and related equipment comes from china..

Q: what male adapter do i need for this,to hook to my compressor?

I used a standard airbrush air line from the compressor to the manifold I think it's 1/8
