Doesn't work
This disc doesn't work at all I followed directions and when I click the version I need it loads then says an error code 0xc0000017

This disc is a piece of junk. It let me restore my windows 8.1 so everything completed and when i went to put the product key it said something about "product key is default". And i use the right one. So i called Microsoft and they installed win 8.1 right online from the internet and use USB flash drive and didn' have tot use no product key FREE.

The disk worked ok, but my key didn't work. The seller was of no help. But at your own risk.

Saved me $150.00!!
Booted right up, easy walk through process. Worked first time to unlock my computer. A friend gave it to me thinking it was a lost cause. I needed one and knew there had to be a solution other than the $150.00 local repairmen wanted to charge.Thank you for a great product and wonderful support when I messed it up by choosing wrong version.

It really works!
I was caucusing optimistic about wether this disk would work.Well, all I can say it was better then expected.And the technical support by Vince was top notch. He walked me through all my problems (with my computer not the software).Don’t hesitate to buy this.

Refresh/recovery/reinstall WINDOWS 8.1
I was almost sure that this disc will not work or will delete all my pictures and files, BUT it does amazing job, everything works perfectly!!!Thanks!!!

Did not work for me
Tried to use it to reset an old computer. Could not get it to work. May work for other situations.
