Fold-over sealing without the need for heat sealing or drawstrings. Fine, corn fiber mesh is biodegradable, even more than paper.
MEDIUM SIZE 7 x 9 cm (just under 3" x almost 4").. Either way, capacity of these large teabags is over about 3-4 Heaping Tablespoons which will brew a full pitcher of tea. The medium filter bags hold at least the amount of coffee (2/3 oz) needed to brew a 4-cup carage of drip coffee...make your own "pods"!
