Outstanding gaming performance with excellent efficiency
The Ryzen 9800X3D has been an excellent upgrade and delivers exactly what it’s known for—top-tier gaming performance. Frame times are extremely consistent, CPU bottlenecks are minimal, and it performs exceptionally well in CPU-heavy games. Despite the performance, power efficiency and thermals are very manageable compared to traditional high-end CPUs. With a decent cooler, temperatures stay under control even during long gaming sessions. Stability has been flawless with no crashes or issues. While this CPU is clearly optimized for gaming, it still handles everyday productivity and multitasking smoothly. Pairing it with a solid AM5 motherboard and fast DDR5 memory makes a noticeable difference. If gaming is your main priority, the 9800X3D is one of the best CPUs you can buy right now and is absolutely worth the investment.

The 3D V-Cache technology truly makes a difference in gaming, providing smooth, consistent frame rates even in demanding titles. In terms of value for money, this CPU is worth every dollar. It runs efficiently, stays cool, and handles everything from high-end gaming to creative workloads without breaking a sweat and staying stable. If you’re looking for a future-proof processor that combines capacity, compatibility, and top-tier functionality, the 9800X3D is an excellent choice. Excellent performance, and a strong and reliable processor!
If your priority is gaming performance, this CPU is simply in a league of its own. Frame times are insanely stable, 1% lows are noticeably better, and games that are typically CPU-bound (CS2, Warzone, Tarkov, Starfield, simulation games) run smoother than I’ve ever seen. Paired with a high-end GPU, it's unstoppable. Thermals are also excellent. With a decent air cooler or AIO, temps stay very manageable, and power efficiency is outstanding compared to competing high-end CPUs. No excessive heat, no wild power spikes. I upgraded to the Ryzen 7 9800X3D from a laptop running an Intel i3-7020U, and the difference is honestly hard to put into words. This isn’t just an upgrade—it’s a completely different universe!

Great CPU for a good price, excels at gaming.
Built my first gaming PC in a few decades and decided to go with an AMD processor for the first time in my life. I've used Intel only since building my first PC in the mid 90's. Not saying I suddenly don't like Intel, but the price point and reviews of the X3D processors for gaming rigs really got my attention. I've been running this for about a year now and I'm very pleased with the performance at the price I paid. It's a CPU so if you've built a computer before you know you just carefully line it up in the socket and let it go, like the easiest install ever. I run it with a ThermalRight Grand Vision 360 AIO for cooling and my CPU temps sit pretty consistently under 45C during normal use, peaking around 67C while gaming (heavily modded Cyberpunk 2077 currently) most days. Under the heaviest loads I've put this through it has seen up to 72C.

Blazing fast and perfect for my new build!
I just built a new PC and paired it with the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 8-core, 16-thread processor — and wow, it does not disappoint. Gaming, streaming (very minimal streaming mainly because I'm not a huge streamer), and multitasking all run flawlessly, with rock-solid stability and impressively low temps. Mind you, case and fans will affect these temps not to mention any changes in the bios that you might make. The 3D V-Cache really boosts performance in games compared to my previous CPUs. This CPU is powerful, efficient, and a perfect choice for any serious gamer or content creator. Highly recommend! Quick side note, I myself haven't had these issues but anyone who plans on using this CPU in a build of their own, be careful what changes you make in your bios. Also, VERY IMPORTANT, make sure you have the most recent bios update for your motherboard because i have read some wrenching stories of their CPU failing but just do a little do diligence when using it and you will not be disappointed.

The best choice for a reason
Recently upgraded my PC was running a r5 7600 before and finally decided to go for the 9800x3d and it was so worth it. All my games play smoother than ever and everything just feels more responsive. I paired it up with a 9070xt and the results at 1440p is amazing. Idle temps are nice and low and during gaming it doesn't get above 77 from my experience so far. My old setup could push 240fps in some games but the 1% lows were ruining it a bit but with this those framerates went up significantly. Can play black ops 7 at around 380-400 fps and even the new resident evil requiem with the graphics cut all the way up and raytracing on runs at an impressive 95-110 fps. If you're debating on getting this and have the money to spend, just do it

AMD a frappé fort !
