Very good watch for the money
Been daily driving this watch for about a month now, it is a very high quality watch. No concerns with this seller, the watch is authentic and 75 dollars is a steal. The watch looks brand new, not a single scratch, and I abuse watches. Was originally looking for a stylish, utility watch that HAD to be waterproof, I'm glad I chose it. It has two cities for each global time zone, includes a stopwatch, and a light button for night viewing. The side buttons are recessed, so it is difficult to press them accidentally. Matches many outfits, works with black very well. Have knocked it on many doorframes, metal shelves, even gone swimming with it and it still looks brand new. The timekeeping is extremely accurate, having lost less than a second in a month. The watch may appear big on some wrists, but it's no bigger than a standard rugged watch. Hopefully will be able to use this watch for years to come. TLDR: no nonsense stylish rugged watch with many features at a great price.

Need to Correct Legal Disclaimer
This is a great watch and I almost cancelled my order because the legal disclaimer on this item says that it is Navy Blue and is used which had me concerned but it arrived as advertised- new and in black. My daily wear is a G-Shock MOVE GPS GBD-H1000-1 but this GA-100-1A1 was my first G-Shock that I wore for 5 years previously and ordered another one because I loved it so much and for times when I can't have a smartwatch with GPS on it and something to fit into my rotation of watches.

A True Tool Watch
I'm a mechanical watch guy. I love tool watches. I owned one of the first generation G-shock back in the 80's. I put that watch through hell and it laughed at me. Great product. When I saw watch this in passing, I gave it a second look and really liked the design, the features and the ana/digi layout was cool. With the price so reasonable, it was a no-brainer purchase. I thought it would be more of a toy or beater watch but it quickly earned my respect as a true tool watch. I usually wear an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch so this is a big change for me. I've had this on my wrist for about 5 days and I'm happy to say that it is a dead nuts accurate watch. The features are useful and easy to learn. The hour chirp, alarm functions, stop watch and world time are just great. I work with folks all over the world every day so the world time feature is very useful.Setup was relatively intuitive. The manual is a must though. While I LOVE the blacked-out appearance, that's also, unfortunately, the watch's Achilles heel. The LED light is lame. I can't put it any other way. A backlit feature for the digital readouts and Trinite/Tru-glo/Tritium for the hands and dial pips would be a much better way of telling time in the dark. You can't see any of the digital functions in the dark. Only the time. It's just not up to usual Casio quality standard and more like a cost cutting measure. That really is my only complaint though. The rest of the watch is fantastic. A light, comfortable, rugged, handsome, competitively priced tool watch. Fix the lame-o LED and this watch is 5 star perfect in my book. As is though, you are getting a great quality, do it all watch for the active person. You could do a lot worse.

Excellent watch for military Physical Training
There has been quite a few discussions on here regarding the quality of this watch and a line down the middle regarding the lighting of the watch's display and a very small portion of folks indicating that the time was never correct on the watch. To address the point almost half the reviews being made about the lighting, the watch display is lit by a single "amber" colored LED (to save power and provide a low light profile, I imagine) which provides more than adequate lighting for the analog hands on the watch to be viewed in pitch black darkness. The watch has a configuration option which allows you to modify the amount of time the LED light stays on from 1.5 to 3.0 seconds. The default time was sufficient for me to view the time but others may find the additional time convenient. This additional time may be what supplements the ability to view the digital time easier. Another owner of this watch indicated that placing an finger across the watch face from 9 to 3 (across the horizontal horizon) allows for the illumination to better reflect back onto the digital display for easier reading. I concur with this assessment and was able to read the time with both the 1.5 and 3.0 second configuration. This is not to say that the time on the digital display is what I would personally be using in low light conditions but it is definitely possible. Finally, the last point to discuss is the settings of the watch and the provided instruction manual in the packaging. Some have complained that the instructions are far too exhaustive due to the instruction manual being of significant length. To these people I say, "Did you even try cycling through the pages?" The instructions that came with my watch came with at least 4-6 different languages so that others that do not read english could take advantage of this product. The english instructions were probably about 40 pages to include the table of contents and some "Care Instructions". I was able to configure the analogue portion of the watch and the world time (to include modifying the Daylight Savings Time setting) in roughly 5-10 minutes at the most. Those that were unable to properly set this watch either did not focus on the various time zones that are clearly identified in the manual, or did not properly configure the Daylight Savings Time option for their time zone.I can say with great confidence that this watch will more than likely be used very much for work, play and the military and hope that it serves me for a long time because it is a great looking watch. Additionally, for those concerned about the size of the watch, it does have a good size in circumference and height off the wrist, but nothing out of the ordinary such as watches from Invicta dive watches. The weight of the watch is very light for me but I am accustomed to watches made of steel with a steel band and that may be causing me to think the watch is light in weight.Hopefully this conveys a very descriptive point of view regarding this watch and points out the supposed "flaws" others have portrayed in their reviews.
