You need HDMI to connect, USB to power up, and put the USB dongle into the Game Stick. AAA batteries for the controllers.Tip — no off setting on the controllers, so pop out the batteries when you’re done to make them last longer, I think.Can’t wait to try them all :)

So, there's a LOT of games that are on here twice (like the same NES game but the US, JAP, and EU versions). That said, there's a TON of awesome games and they look great (all things considered) even upscaled on a 50" TV. Game play has been nice and smooth so far as well.Only complaints are that 1. you can't seem to pause it, which is really inconvenient and 2. there doesn't seem to be a way to save your progress. So, you basically have to start every game from the beginning. Thats a major problem for RPG type games.For the most part though, I think this is a geat deal for what you get.

EDIT: There is a way to save! And I confirmed it works even after power cycles. Hit both select and start on the controller at the same time. Then click "Save State". You can quit after that. When you want to resume your place, open the game and this time select "Load State". Easy as that!Really easy to use and has a great selection of games. Really happy that you get two controllers with it too! Only downside is no saving, but if you're just looking for some easy pickup and play retro gaming, this is an awesome deal. Highly recommend!

Great selection of games, especially PS …directions could have been better. For TV use, if you have an Amazon power stick use the power adapter.

We got this retro game console for our cabin, and it’s been a huge hit with guests of all ages! It’s perfect for playing old classics like Street Fighter.
