Seamless replacement for Bravia TV
It’s a remote. It controls the TV. Yay ;) Most importantly it was a seamless setup for our TV. Ie; no setup needed. Put batteries in, pushed buttons, TV responded. Couldn’t ask for more. (Well, I could, but not reasonably.) Hopefully don’t lose another remote, but if I did I’d buy again.

Great replacement.
Perfect replacement for the overly complicated original Sony remote. This eliminates unnecessary buttons. Smaller and more intuitive. But it does lack a few functions if the original.

Not Recommended!
Connects to Sony TV right away but constantly try to update software but it will not connect to any server or website to actually update. Disappointed because this is otherwise a great remote, just irritating to get an "update software" message every time I use it.

Works, but won't update and TV thinks battery is low
It works but the TV keeps asking for a remote control update, and this non-Sony remote won't update. The TV also thinks the remote's battery is low, and it's not.

Exact match to original remote.
Aftet placing the batteries in the correct direction, this remote worked immediately with my Sony Bravia TV. The buttons are in the same format as the original remote that came with the television. That made it very easy to use!

Stiff replacement but works as intended.
100% works as intended but it's definitely made to be very stiff.

A mind of its own.
Voice won't work if the original remote is still paired with the TV. I ordered this remote to have as a second remote so both the wife and I could control the TV. Mostly that has worked out, although this replacement seems to have a mind of its own. Many times I want the TV to go to the HOME position and navigate from there, but lately, pushing the HOME button takes me to a Settings screen. That's frustrating.
