I used to wake up 20+ times per night because of neck pain.I tried changing my mattress for a firmer fit- didn’t help.This pillow worked IMMEDIATELY. You have to air it out and let it come to its intended size for a few hours. There was no bad smell and I used same night. There is a removable height foam piece in it to make it a bit taller or shorter. I’ve left mine in and it’s perfect. There’s also a pillowcase included.If you are not sleeping due to neck issues, the firmness of this pillow combined with the memory foam material helps. It is cool, the color and fabric are great, the size is that of any standard pillow.It is great for back, side sleeping. It does a great job of supporting neck and back alignment while contouring to your body. I didn’t feel an “edge” of the pillow on my neck, it wasn’t too stiff. The thickness is great.The only thing (user error) is make sure you are laying on it the right way. Look at the pictures and instructions.I will be purchasing another to take on trips. I don’t use any other pillow anymore. I’m begging you to try this pillow.

I bought the standard size because I’m a smaller person. I’ve had 3 artificial discs implanted in my neck and I’ve dealt with a lot of headaches over the last decade. I’ve always slept on a very low memory foam pillow because of the lack of curve in my neck. I’ve been working on my curve. To my surprise, this pillow was really comfortable. I could feel a little stretch in my neck during the first night so, I switched out to my old lower in height pillow half way through the night. By the next night, I was able to sleep with this one for the full night. This is a substantial pillow so, it’s not really suitable for travel IMO. The foam is denser compared to my cheaper memory foam travel pillow. I’m using a standard size pillow case on mine. I didn’t notice a smell and I’m usually sensitive to that.. Hope this helps others in search of the right pillow. It’s not easy for those of us with neck problems.

I’ve had mine for months now and while it’s still comfortable, it went kind of flat. At first there was a cradling effect that took pressure off my ears which I loved. The neck support was also nice since I am a side sleeper and can kink my neck sometimes. I am still sleeping on it, but the material has flattened a little and it’s lost a some shape. I think that was to be expected. Still a good pillow and I prefer it to a lot of the softer ones.

I wish I'd purchased this pillow years ago. I've had it about a week and it's made a huge difference in my pain level. Read the reviews and watch the videos. There are several ways to make adjustments to make it work for each individual, the simplest of which is turning it around. I used to wake up with pain in my hips because of the way I'd have to position myself to support my neck. Same with my neck and shoulders. I can't say I'm pain free -- that's not going to happen, at this point. But I no longer have to get up in the middle of the night and sit in the recliner awhile because I hurt too much to stay in bed.

I wasn’t so sure about this pillow at first… I’m coming from a memory foam neck support only pillow which has much more cushion than this pillow. I wear a oura ring which tracks my my sleep scores daily. After five days of using this pillow my readiness/sleep scores have been in the 90’s every night which is higher than they’ve been in months (I can’t make this up)! I can tell when I’m laying on my side or stomach that my shoulder is under the pillow which has helped significantly (neck only pillow my shoulder would lay on the pillow). I’m much more comfortable and don’t wake up during the night like I used to. I have contacted this company via email to request an additional memory foam insert that they offer for free because I do prefer a little more cushion. I tried to call the 888 number provided on the box but all it did was ask me to leave a voicemail which didn’t really get me far at all. The customer service via email has been great and responsive. I ordered the queen size pillow instead of my normal standard and I love it! Highly recommend!
