This is a really nice item and the packaging is quality too.However the most important part of this-fitting on my phone with a thin silicone case- didn’t work out. So I had to return it unused and never was able to see for myself how this worked.

I’d say this is more what I would consider a 2x lens, as objects are just about 2x larger with the lens than with the iPhone only. Perfect for reducing distortion caused by the lens on the iPhone. Photos taken of people with this lens are simply more flattering, in my opinion. And the image is clear from edge to edge, when used with my iPhone 6, without a case on it. And zero vignetting around the edges. Just looks like you’re standing closer to the subject, but with far less lens distortion than if you actually were closer. I did find the lens a bit harder to thread correctly onto the lens clamp than other lenses I’ve bought. But worth being patient. Take it slow and don’t cross thread and you’ll be rewarded with greatly improved photos. Also came with a very nice zippered hard carrying case. That was a bonus surprise I really appreciated. Would recommend this to anyone.

Such great quality pictures! Quicker than expected

Nice package, nice lens. I had to send it back. It worked but it wanted to shift around on my cell. Also heavy. Samsung 7 edge. I had to take my otterbox off, making me paranoid about dropping my phone. I wasn't worth me keeping

The lens is great, but my iPhone X had a hard time focussing when zoomed in on photo mode. No fault to the lens itself as I have found that my iPhone X has trouble focusing in photo mode when you try to zoom in to 10X on the phone. I have tried many lenses 2X and higher and it's the same. Video mode is fine, but for some reason photo mode has trouble focussing.

If you know photography then you know the 28mm equivalent I phone lens makes the subject look ehh shaped. The correct portrait lens in 85mm. This lens is a face saver! Best for Instagram with a selfie stick. You need the stick because you can’t hold the phone far enough from your face for a decent selfie with framing background. If you want to look like you look, get this inexpensive high quality lens!

The quality of this lens is excellent for the price. It takes great pictures and is relatively easy to put on and take off. I was amazed by the packaging. The case was of the quality you'd expect for a $500 piece of equipment.

Great product. Great quality. Great company. It gives you the ability to get the much desired bokeh effect without an iPhone 7+ or higher. You won't be disappointed.
