Drinking water from a water bottle can be problematic for a number of reasons. If you're running or hiking, you have to carry a bottle with you. If you're mountain biking, road cycling, riding a motorcycle, or rock climbing, you don't exactly have free hands, now do you? It's because of these limitations that we often forgo drinking water throughout the day, as we should. And by the time we feel thirsty, dehydration has already set in.

Great except for the wide mouthpiece cap
Works well. Both my wife and I converted from bottled and apart from the first four sips being rather tepid water on a hot day before the cool stuff comes through has been a real saviour on a hot days walk. However the mouth piece cap is too wide to fit through our back pack pouch hole. You can do it it by putting the bag in the back pack before filling and putting the hose in connection end, but tends to make it tricky for filling. Very good value for money.

Don't believe the lies
"...odour and taste free" may apply if you try to eat it but water stored tastes absolutely foul. Very strong chemical taste; completely unusable. I had a Camelbak previously and this was never a problem. Amazon needs to address the false advertising. Manufacturer / Seller - come and try it!

Good quality
I bought these to replace two 10year old camelpak bladders.These are of comparative quality to these. The valves and mouth pieces work well, I like the cover, and the tubes also in/screw from the bladders. Good solid bits of kit - recommended!

Good quality at a fraction of the cost
Good product for the price, doesn’t leak, even with pressure from a full backpack. a bit of a pain to clean and especially to dry. Well worth the buy considering the price for two.

Really good
Does exactly as expected. Have only used it a couple of times and have not had any problems. Easy to fill, clean and use. Would buy again.

Horrendous plastic taste
Read the reviews and thoroughly rinsed and washed before using. OMG the water tastes foul. Very strong plastic chemical taste. Apart from that it is very well made. Very easy to use . Does not leak. Because of the taste you find yourself rationing the water quite easily on a hot day. Will be returning to camelbak

Both had leaks
Serves me right for buying cheap - they both had leaks in them. The first leak I only discovered after a 2 hour paragliding flight - it had soaked the back of my harness and my reserve parachute: not good! I then leak tested the second one before using it and sure enough that one leaked as well. Avoid.
