I have had two severe allergic reactions to unknown substance. Where my skin was red and burning to the point I could not bear anything touching it. I ended up at the hospital and was given steroid tablets. I begged the doctor to help me cool my skin. I had tried my eczema cream (cetraben) I had tried camomile cream, a gel for chicken pox (I was getting desperate) The doctor said camomile lotion - I was almost in tears and said camamile lotion makes me itch. The doctor looked at me in my sorry state and finally said okay this is the cream he prescribed although they don't usually. It's amazing and I am more than happy to buy it. As soon as it was applied I could feel it cooling my skin, after a day I no longer wanted to rip my skin off. Now as soon as I feel the tell tale signs of a reaction I reach for this.

This is not what balneum does to my toddlers body. When it arrived, I was a bit skeptical because the label and packaging was different from what I'm used to buying. Decided to go ahead and use because I felt they might have changed their packaging. But a couple of days in use and my toddlers body is itchy, red and patchy.

This is an excellent product for itchy skin anywhere on the body, but especially for older people who tend to get itchy skin, backs particularly, from sitting or lying in bed for long periods.
