I took off the ape hangers from my 1989 FLSTF and put these handle bars on so I'm not F#(%ed if somebody comes backing out of their driveway while I am riding along and I need to lay it down and have control. Ape hangers suck these handle bars don't I had to drill out the wire holes but thats no big deal for me . they look grear feel great are great and a great value

Went from buckhorns to these more natural feeling bars, worked out great.

Item fits perfectly in the risers.

Quality is great, especially for the price. Took off a star because they're not knurled at the clamp area, so a little harder to get them properly secured. However once tightened down it hasn't been a problem, although I dont have many miles on them. I added these to a set of 5" risers and hand placement is roughly the same as a stock Softail with the factory mini apes (mine is an 07)

Exactly what I was looking for. These bars provide more control and a better riding position for me. Not quite as relaxed as my old bars but being too relaxed in the traffic of my town could be a bad thing.
