Netter's Neuroscience Coloring Book (Netter Basic Science)

I’ve tried other coloring books but this is my favorite. It has pretty advanced explanations which can be a bit overwhelming but I love how it goes step by step and I find that because coloring inherently slows me down it gives me more time to process everything.

This book is great for anyone going into the medical field. You're going to have to take Anatomy and Physiology - that includes the brain. Memorizing cranial nerves and sections of the brain is pretty tough, but this book makes it a bit easier. It's all about your learning stlye... this may work for some but not others. I reccommend making a photocopy of the page before you begin coloring. Save the file and reprint as necessary to help you study.

amazing detail, the images to color are very detailed as well. buy it, you won't regret it. Just practice coloring with different types of markers or gel pens on the blank sheet in the back of the book, to makle sure what you use doesnt bleed through the paper.

Bought for school, but it is very interesting and I actually enjoyed coloring it. Super fun even for someone who just wants it for their own pleasure:)

The perfect xmas gift for a med student. Lot's of information and very easy to digest in a different format.

Incredibly detailed explanations and images to color, with a color coding key on each page. This coloring book is not for the faint of heart, but anyone with a real interest in the structures and functions within our brains would get a lot from this. Coloring images would be great for visual learners, but the descriptions can be very complex, I would suggest using this alongside other materials for clarification of dense portions.

This is one of the coolest books for all neuroscience nerds. Not only are there illustrations but there's also explanations and questions to check understanding. It's just that sometimes I run out of coolers to use hahah but it's very neat and would probably make a good gift for any med student.
