worth every penny
for pulling the rear axle nuts off old vw's. makes it so easy. I sprayed the nuts with pb blaster a few hours before. then use the tool again to install and you don't have to find a way to come up with the 230+ pounds of torque, it does it for you and you only need to get to about 25 pounds of torque

Worked great on my nuts!
This worked well for my gland and axle nuts on my '70 Bug. I can't compare it to the more expensive "brand name" version, but why would I? This one worked just fine for less money! If there is any potential issue I found, it was that the gears on the rollers and the plate didn't have as tight a tolerance as I would have liked to see for something converting that much torque. But then again... it's worked multiple times so far, so...???

Poor fit. Did not work at all.
This tool seems well constructed, but it did not engage tightly on the flywheel. The drive gear did not engage well to the flywheel teeth. Tool would not work at all. Returned immediately. Vehicle is a 1970 Volkswagen Beetle.
