This apron is nicely large, providing good surface coverage. You can tell upon wearing it the first time that it's made with quality materials- it breathes nicely but is decently waterproof should you spash any water or liquid on yourself while washing dishes. It's amazingly inexpensive for what you get- I've given a new one for each new kitchen staff member.The only downside to this apron is that it's all black so any matter of salt stain or color (like sauces) will show up on it immediately.

Apron is pure white. I am not sure of the ability to personalize with embroidery even though it is supposed to be cotton.
