Great price for an excellent streaming amp
I have this streaming amp powering a pair of Q Acoustics 3050i floor standing speakers. They sound great. I'm very impressed with the internal DAC, the Wiim app and the streamer.

Quality feel
I already have the Amp version. While opening the box you feel it is quality. The setup and update took approximately 10min. Now it is all linked, I am able to play my 8 ceiling speakers together, or run by pair of 4 by using each Amp separately. Sound is really nice, perfect for movie or formula 1

Great
I’m not an expert and not really into Hi-Fi. Heard a system including this amp at a friend’s house and I was hooked. Bought it with a decent price from Amazon. Paired with Warfedale Evo 5.1 and the sound is amazing. Everything is done via the app which is not the friendliest. Doesn’t accept Airplay but with optical connection works perfectly with Apple music. Tidal connect works flawlessly. Small, compact, heavy, stylish, doesn’t run hot although the speakers are 4 Ohms. I really like it and I found myself listening genres unexplored until now.

Good Kit
We already had a Wiim Pro Plus bought a couple of weeks prior to this one . This other Wiim amp was to replace an old traditional amplifier which had failed in another system we have . We had a problem when setting up as the app was saying the network name was not the same as the amp ( or something ! ? ) . It all got very confusing so I chickened out and sent it back as I didn't feel we had the technical ability to sort it it out although I'm sure someone more into the technology could have done . I'm sure that this item is fine though as we are very impressed with the Pro Plus which is just the streamer without the amp . I went back on to the Amazon site and ordered a more traditional Sony amplifier ( you might even call it old fashioned in some ways ! ) which arrived and this went into our secondary back up system and is fine , I can understand that one !

Awesome Hi Def Audio
I have this with some Q acoustic 3030i feed is from tidal ! Base is punchy, On Daft Punks Random Access memories the base is sharp and punchy, Nile Rogers guitar 🎸 separate and distinct ! Playing as a FLAC from Tidal Buy this with these speakers they will not disappoint! Great value for money, easy to set up ! Update 03/10/25 Amazon music works a lot better with this amplifier TIDAL works but it’s kind of buggy Amazon Music control straight out of the app and you can cast straight to it as if it’s a Amazon echo the Ranger music on Amazon unlimited it just as good pretty much the same

Drag your passive speakers into 2025
This is an amazing piece of kit for those who have a decent pair of passive speakers. I have the TV going through this via ARC HDMI and it's great having the analog inputs which could be used for a vinyl player (that has a built in phono stage). Sound quality is excellent with a premium DAC and the parametric EQ allows me to get the exact sound I want. There are all manner of streaming services and connection options to play your music. I went from a bog standard Cambridge Audio amp to this and couldn't be happier.

the rating on amazon is 4.5 this should be a 5.5 out of 5
I struggle to see why the rating on amazon is 4.5 this should be a 5.5 out of 5. This is a fantastic amp for the price point. The sound quality for £400 is amazing and streamers from bigger names and much much bigger price tags would not sound much better for 5-6 hundred pounds more. I have hooked it up to Cambridge Audio minx 12 and a Cambridge Audio 301x sub and has a fantastic sound from my Amazon HD music app. I also bluetooth my echo 21 to the amp and even over bluetooth the sound is very very good. I am looking forward to Alexa+ coming out as i think the amp and ehco will be your go to music system without emptying your bank account.

I love WiiM, these guys just do things right. I have two WiiM devices to date and can see myself adding more. I originally started out with a WiiM Pro streaming device. I use this in my office with an Onkyo 900 series receiver, a pair of Martin Logan B10 bookshelf speakers (on stands), and an Elac subwoofer. Recently I started having problems with the Onkyo, which is why I originally bought the WiiM Pro, but it's gotten so bad it won't recognize any input signal for like 10 minutes... really annoying. So I've been on the lookout for a replacement amplifier to use with my Pro. I originally thought the VibeLink would be a good alternative, but even though the VibeLink is marketed as a stand alone amplifier, it doesn't include a subwoofer output (what? Seriously??). Anyway, I ended up giving the WiiM Amp Pro a try. It's an amplifier and also a streamer which frees up my original streamer Pro to use elsewhere in the house. The WiiM Amp Pro is about an eighth the size of my Onkyo, so I'm really liking the smaller footprint, and right off the bat my shelf unit is far less cluttered. There are just enough inputs to make this guy hugely versatile without increasing the overall size. Inputs include RCA jacks (if you're using a DAC in an external device, or an analog output from something), an optical input (if you want to take advantage of the onboard Sabre ES9038 DAC), and an HDMI ARC input which is nice for connecting your TV or monitor. You get a left and right speaker output pair of binding posts, and a subwoofer output. Rounding out the ports is an RJ-45 network jack and a USB port for external media. This is in addition to the Bluetooth connectivity. The front of the unit is very minimalist, but you won't miss anything because WiiM has done a great job of giving you exactly what you need on the front panel and not cluttering it up with things you don't. There's a single LED indicator on the left that lets you know which input you're on by the color. It's easy and intuitive, and I don't miss the clutter of multiple buttons at all. The multi-function knob handles the volume (by rotating it) and also has a “tap” button in the center that functions as a play/pause button. For volume readback, WiiM has included six LED indicators next to the volume control that do a remarkable job of indicating the volume. On top of that, after you've made your volume adjustment, they will fade out after a few seconds. This keeps the front panel pretty dark and allows the Amp Pro to blend into it's environment. If that's not enough, you still have two additional ways of controlling the basic functions of the Pro Amp. The included voice remote (yep, I said voice remote), and the free WiiM app. The remote is another lesson in minimalist design giving you only what you need and not cramming rarely used functions onto it's face. You have the power button, the voice button, an input select button and a mute button for starters. In addition, you'll find a circular and incredibly intuitive to use, circular volume/transport cluster. There's also four favorite buttons which can be used to assign your favorite streaming channels. The WiiM app is the icing on this cake. Everything you can do from the front panel and the remote, you can do from the app. I have a dedicated Samsung tablet I use for this purpose, but you can certainly use your phone if you want. I can't say enough about this app, it just works like you would expect it work. It takes all of about a minute to find your way around it and use it to stream from pretty much any streaming app you'd want to, and also stream your own music from any DLNA device you choose. I have all my music stored on a NAS drive, and the app was able to show me my music without any trouble at all. It has a whole slew of settings and customizations, and and will play pretty much any audio codec you throw at it. It has both graphic and parametric EQ's built in, and a nice selection of pre-formatted, genre based EQ presets. Yeah, great, but how does it sound? Well, I can honestly say it sounds fantastic. The Amp Pro will tell you it's rated for 60 watts at 8 ohms. My Martin Logan's are rated at 5 ohms, and the highest I've had the volume is about 50% (that's 3 LEDs on the front panel), and I like my music played loud. The TI 3255 amplifier chip is amazingly competent. This Class D amplifier is able to provide way more power than I can use. To be clear, the more efficient your speakers, the more power you will be able to enjoy. The amp is suitable for a wide range of speakers from 4 ohm all the way to 8 ohm. The lowest impedance being 2.67 ohms. The sound is rich and warm and powerful. You would expect to see a much bigger amplifier sitting in it's place, because you won't believe the sound this amp is able to provide. It's nothing short of amazing. I was blown away. I will say, if you have smaller, bookshelf sized speakers, every system will benefit from adding a subwoofer. I say that as a general rule, not only if you're using a WiiM device. Even an inexpensive sub can add a huge amount of depth and punch to your sound. When you combine multiple WiiM streaming/amplified devices throughout you house, you can set up an affordable distributed music system that works like you'd expect it to, for a fraction of the price of other big name streamers (gird your loins Sonos). If you're in the market for a fully distributed sound system, or just want something affordable for an office, bedroom, family room setup, give Wiim a try. They have not disappointed me.

This little amplifier is "little" only in its Form Factor and has no business sounding so good being a Class D Power Amplifier. Has plenty of input possibilities and drives some large speakers without a hint of stress. The accompanying software (WiiM Home) is very user-friendly and quite powerful and most importantly for such devices it really works!! In the limited time that I have used it, I have discovered no bugs. Great value for the money!!

The software is amazing. You can do everything from your phone: -> easily change sources -> play tidal, spotify, ... (even without bluetooth it streams everything using wifi) -> equalizer settings are great The negative: the bluetooth OUT (not in!) of this device has a significant delay that makes moviewatching or gaming not really possible (voices are delayed like 300ms). But this might just be a bluetooth issue in general? Tip: once every app is logged in into WIIM, use the your native music app to change songs (not the one inside wimm), it works way better this way.
