Plano All-Weather Gun Case

This was an exceptionally well designed and manufactured gun case. It’s not flimsy like those that sell for 2/3 the price. You do truly get what you pay for in this case. The double action locks are all heavy duty, including the two that have built in locks. There are additional locking capabilities but with them built in probably only useful if the case would be out of your sight, say for shipment. Hinges are massive compared to flimsier cases. This case ranks right up there with the toughness of professional road cases. I should know as a professional video producer. You will be pleasantly surprised with the quality of this case given its price point. Also, their help desk called back within the hour when I had a question, were pleasant and helpful. Addendum: 9/4/25- to speak to the quality, usability and overall utility of Plano gun cases, I have not only had time to use this purchased on in transporting a firearm in this case in the back of my truck but have purchased the larger sized (with end handle and wheels) to hold longer rifles and shotguns, one up to 51 inches. The larger case not only holds two with scopes but three shotguns simultaneously protected and locked (as reqd in MA) also in the back of the truck. Note this one has 4 sets of slots for tie down, keeping things solid in sometimes rough traffic. I have been recommending these cases now to members of my nearby club, as with additional new gun laws here, locked/secured protection during transit is mandatory.

This was a surprise for the low price. Everything was above expectations for me on this one. Great case, seal is good, foam is top notch. I'm going to buy several more, and look into pistol cases from these guys as well.

Great case, the pluck foam is a plus. I ordered another after seeing how well built it was. Perfect length, protection and size. Easy to carry and has wheels when needed.

This is a awesome little case. True it may not be as sturdy as some other cases out there but in reality how many people need a hi end case for their guns? I know for me it suits my purpose perfectly. It allows me to take my guns to the range and back and fits under my bed. It has locks so it is California legal for transportation without a bunch of extra crap, fits in my car trunk perfectly and carries my two handguns 6 magazines, a shotgun with 50 rounds of 12 gauge, a reflex sight and a tactical flashlight. I have modified it with a custom foam I made and am loving it. So with the price of the case and the custom foam inserts I paid around only $95 in total. Beats the heck out of $200 plus for a pelican case alone.. Cons: Well I can't say too much bad about it despite the lid dose seam a wee bit floppy, as far as it being watertight... well I am not planning to go swimming with it, and haven't soaked it with a water hose .... l so I can't say how great it is on that aspect. Being a locksmith I was able to pick the locks on it in about 10 seconds.... so they are not that great for security, but it will keep the kids out as well as being safe to transport with the locks locked. "Side note" locks on a portable gun case can be better but for some reason even on high end cases their locking mechanism sucks... Unless you have a steel built safe that goes into your truck bed than don't expect anything fancy. This is actually a part all manufactures can work on. High and low end alike, their locks are about the same quality and can be made a lot better.

This thing feels like it is built like a tank. The handles, latches and wheels feel great. It is huge, heavy-ish, and sturdy. I think the price is very fair. However, the interior dimensions listed are very conservative and don't include the giant cutouts for the wheels or inches of foam padding in both length and width. I thought this should easily fit two <46" bolt action rifles with optics, but there's no way to safely fit them in here and have any padding left at all. There is just not enough width for two full-sized rifles to be safely Tetris'd together. This would be suitable for two carbines, one scoped bolt action with up to a 26" barrel (even in a chassis with DBM and mounted accessories, most likely), one 20" rifle with a mid-size suppressor mounted, or two folding-stock chassis guns... just not two longer rifles with traditional stocks, which is what I needed it for.

If transporting 2 firearms, this case is durable, lockable and having wheels, easy to pull behind you. GREAT BUY

The gasket seal design is flawed , mine was not inserted correctly , so the seal was loose and it was pinched by the case and damaged . At this price range I would expect it to be glued in the slot . Otherwise it could have been a ok case .

La mousse intérieur est de bonne qualité et les prédécoupes en petits carrés sont très bien finies et facile à extraire (contrairement à d'autres marques que je possède également). Je recommande vraiment ce produit si vous cherchez un excellent rapport qualité prix. Un seul petit hic, une odeur de poisson qui provient du joint mais qui, je pense, va s'estomper au fil du temps. Bien évidemment, elle n'est pas légère, mais le poids est en adéquation avec la qualité, la solidité et la robustesse pour l'emmener partout ! Love at first site. I own the brocock sniper xr and considering it's a high end rifle I wanted to give it a good home. Pros. Perfect for a ar rifle or a bull pup, the foam is pre cut so I shaped it on my rifle perfectly, very sturdy, locking mechanism, doesn't feel cheap and looks great ! Fits in the boot of The car like a dream. Cons. Couldn't find any ! Just keep in mind the length as it's not for a large sniper rifle ! Don't thi k about it, just buy it !
