100% happy with this purchase! Was skeptical but for $100.00 figured if it could work on c-purlin then that would be good enough. Welded 1/4” metal onto my tractor with ease. Photo was first attempt to figure it out!

Bought one - tried it, then bought another one for my other shop. Weld with side of stick end touching workpiece. Duty cycle max is 25% so give it plenty of rest while welding. When done , let fan run to cool it down before unplugging. Use lowest power setting that achieves the desired results - I used a "3".

Buy a helmet or welders glasses. the shield provided is very flimsy and to small. welder works well. I just need practice.

Great product. With a little practice, welding with good flow. Even heavier material.Burns up welding rods quickly so buy extra.

This is fantastic if you possess the ability to keep the stick 1mm away from the workpiece. The arc is so small it's useless. Additionally, any little bit of slag on the end of the stick will render it completely unless until the slag is removed. Even on max power, there is simply not enough current to over come that little bit of slag.

I bought this product, unbelievably happy with it. I'm retired. When I was working, my job required that I learn to weld. Never had to do much of it. I consider myself a backyard welder at best. But I do know what it takes to get a big job done and a small job done. If you have a big job, get a big welder if you have a small job this product is wonderful. It is quick and easy to use. If I was a real welder, I believe that would be a love affair here.
