I’ve been wanting to try pottery for ages, and this little wheel was the perfect way to finally start. The kit came with everything necessary yet simple and nothing overly overwhelming. The setup was simple, the storage design keeps my space from getting cluttered, and the clay included was easy enough for a total beginner like me. The wheel isn’t huge, so you’re not making giant vases, but for learning the basics (and having fun), it’s just right. So far it’s been great :) I’ll update if anything changes with more use.

My daughter really wanted a pottery wheel. I wasn’t sure which one to choose so that it wouldn’t be too expensive but still good quality and not just a toy. This one is actually pretty good for its price. The set includes everything you need to get started. Thanks to the protective splash guard around the wheel, the clay doesn’t splatter which is very convenient. My daughter was able to start making something from the very first try.

Save your money, this is garbage. I purchased it as a Christmas present for my adult daughter and it didn't even last through the use of the included clay. The gears are too fragile and non replaceable. We contacted the seller and there is no recourse I feel Amazon should remove both the product and possibly the seller if the quality is so bad, they wo t even stand behind it. Consider it disposable, pure junk

Doesn’t have near the power we were expecting usable, but not very sturdy

I have always wanted to learn and take pottery classes. I think it would be a great way to see if pottery is for me. Plus, I think it would be relaxing. It is super easy to assemble and the instructions are very clear and objective. The material is of excellent quality and came very well packaged. We had a lot of fun with our first piece, I am excited to make more. The set is also easy to clean, which is very important to keep everything looking new. I highly recommend giving it a try. This box has everything you will need.

Great product, but one package of clay that came with it was damaged and dried out.

For a light-weight pottery wheel under $100, I'm impressed. I've now purchased 5 of these so I can start giving classes at different locations. The wheel itself performs very well for its size and motor power. Not too loud compared to other brands. I've received all my orders in very good time. The free tools it comes with are OK. A little lower quality than similar kits you can buy separately, but still get the job done. The other accessories are a nice addition. Not wild about the paint set, but I didn't buy this for the paint. The air dry clay included has come in different stages of drying across the 5 sets I've purchased. If it comes soft, it works ok on the wheel. I prefer to use Crayola Air Dry Clay, it feels just like the natural clays used in pottery that have to be fired. Overall, if you are looking for an inexpensive way to see if pottery on the wheel is for you, before investing in larger wheels and a kiln, I highly recommend this wheel and Crayola Air Dry Clay to use with it.
