I've been growing in soil for about 6 years now and the Spider Farmer Self-Watering System is the one thing I did not know I needed until I found it a month ago. One Fill will last roughly a little over a week. Fill it up, pH it and let it do it's thing. I still hand feed every other day just to have time with my plants and I don't want to clog up the system. I could easily dose my nutrients for a week if I'm going out of town, no worries what so ever. Would highly recommend for those with a busy schedule, have trouble keeping up with watering, or just want assurance that your plants aren't going to go dry for any reason. Five Stars All Day!

Good but only late veg and flower.

The media could not be loaded. Love it, downside, that valve is 10l above. Why? What I have tried is removing a leg and add something that will take up some space to displace the water. Watch the video. Seems to work but let’s see how long. The top is dry, BUT what they don’t say (the ones complaining) just a little below that and your soil (coco/perlite for me, no worm casting just pure coco n perlite) and it’s moist. It’s perfect. I don’t see me growing with out these. They are just simply awesome. I spent so much time watering them daily making mixes and even leaving 10l ready at a time. Haven’t done boo boo in a week. Beautiful.

This design could’ve been so much better. I’ll start by saying that it’s a great idea, but needs more R&D. First off, the outlet port is too high on the water reservoir. It leaves 15 L of water when it is “empty”. This is supposed to be a set it and forget it type of watering system, but your nutrients will settle to the bottom and never get pulled into the pots. You constantly have to stir the reservoir. I could go on, but I have discontinued the use of mine and gone to an actual wicking pot without the useless reservoir. Another thing folks, check your pH levels in the pots. Trust me!

I was a little sceptical at first watering from the bottom up but so far so good the plants seem to take what it needs water wise and the plants are thriving! When it comes to the nutrients I separately feed them from the top not to durty my system!

Looks good. Solid packaging.i have not used yet.

So far I’m liking this I’m having trouble getting a good flow it took like an hour to fill my pots and I had to tilt my pots to get them to flow into the next one

Perfect need a lil bigger reservoir but it’s good
