Worth every penny
After using Oakton for a couple of decades which were perfect, plus one or two Hannah ones that were junk, I was very impressed by this Tadeto which ticked all the boxes for me, price, 3 pt calibration, back light, large display, screw tight cap that hold storage solution, a few pouches of calibration crystals, and basically waterproof. My unit was dead on accurate out of the box just like someone else mentioned, and it came with the cap full of storage solution to keep the probe in perfect condition (unlike Oakton). The soil probe/guard was a terrific addition for people who really want to know what's happening in their soil. It turns out in California with all the calcium carbonate in the municipal water supply that my 8.3 pH tap water was leaving my soil up around 7.5 pH, not good. I watered a few times with Neptune's Harvest fish hydrolysate which brought things back down closer to 6.0, and the plants loved it. The value here is tremendous.

Easy to use and accurate!
I am so glad I purchased this meter. I've been using it for a couple months now and it's been dead on every time. Comparable to much higher priced meters.

Decent meter
I purchased this meter to help me really dial in my cannabis garden. I wasn’t having any problems, but having another tool at hand couldn’t hurt.I received the meter and after unpacking I calibrated it. Fairly easy to do, instructions were a little confusing at first but figured it out quickly. The readout on the meter was not working properly, did not show complete numbers . Only half of the screen showed numbers. Took out the batteries, reinserted them, pushing buttons at random, no go to get it working properly.Sent it back, and 5 days later I received a new one. This one worked great. Readout works, holds its calibration pretty well and is nice and durable.I’m not sure how precise this meter is quite yet, but am working on that right now. But seems fairly accurate. All in all, I’m pleased with the meter and would recommend it.

Calibrated perfectly right out of the box
and holds its calibration for at least the two weeks i've had it. Kit comes with everything you need. Thought the soil testing would be more useful but I find myself not really needing that part of it. All in all a nice little tool.

Don’t spend the extra $$ on other brands
Works great!!! Don’t spend extra money on Blue Labs or Apera this does the exact same thing at a fraction of the cost. I’m glad I listened to another person that said the same thing as he tested multiple meters side by side. I always prefer to spend a bit extra to know I’m getting a quality product especially when it comes to parameter tools but there was absolutely no need in this case.Comes with a nice zip up bag, multiple calibration packets, KCI liquid for the probe, batteries, brush etc. 10/10 in my books

Excellent instrument
A quality instrument; finally I can feel very confident about my pH readings. Precise, and - consistent.

Great sensor, tough instructions
Awesome sensor but the use and care manual needs a total rewrite by someone who understands and speaks English. Can't speak to the other languages. Also, no instructions to mix the KCl liquid. The manual say the instructions are in the appendix but there is no appendix.

Much easier than test strips and more accurate than the cheap moisture/pH/nutrient meters.
I love this device! I am a novice gardener and was struggling to read pH test strips and the cheapo moisture/pH/nutrient meter was not agreeing with the strips at all. I splurged on this meter and it is fantastic so far. Comes with test reference fluid so you know when it says 4, 7, 10 pH, it is absolutely correct. This confirmed that the cheapo meter was WAY off. This also was MUCH easier to read than the pH strips which always show a disagreement between the different color strips so you end up being +/- 1 pH which is a lot when it comes to soil.
