Not exacely what they advertise
This product is ok but it is not what actually a good product to better your swing. I think you can make something out of rubber bands and PVC that will work better than this junk.

Solved multiple issues in my swing
I have been in search for a good practice training aid. After visiting multiple sites in search of one, I came across this perfect release. I believe Martin Hall also showed it once on the golf channel so I knew it must have been legit. Also, a few teaching instructors were also using it for their students. After a friend recently taped my swing, there were multiple issues that were wrong with my swing that I had no idea of. My takeaway was too inside and flat, wrists were bowed, clubface pointed right of target, downswing was still over the top, and I was casting. After multiple sessions with the perfect release, I was able to fix all of the above. Make sure you maintain tension throughout your backswing and post impact. If you do that, you are doing it right! Doing it in front of a mirror also helped as I was able to see and visualize what was right vs. wrong. I also would move the clamp down to increase tension and help me. Initiating the downswing with the hips also helped and I finally knew what that felt like because of the resistance. Fixing grip is a must before you use this though (which I had to do)This finally got my swing on plane!!! Best thing ever invented for golf training. I would recommend this to anyone, especially folks that are new to the game! I hope this helps.

Jury is still out for me; feedback from the tool doesn't work as I would like
I'm not sure about this training tool yet. I've had it for a month now. It seems to do what is advertised meaning the tension of the cord is there throughout the swing. However, the issue that I have is I don't see how it corrects a flawed swing. No matter what I seem to do, a flatter swing, higher swing, a swing too much on the inside, basically swings that are not on plane, even exaggerated, not keeping my arms straight, whatever the swing I do, the cord stays pretty much at the same tension. So, I am not getting the feedback that I would like for a swings that are not on plane. It's a very expensive product for what it is. As I mentioned in a previous review, I get more out of using alignment sticks with the proper drills.

Good aid, at least if you have professional help
I bought this training aid after my golf pro introduced it to me in a lesson. It seemed to help a bit, so I decided to get my own. He was working with me on keeping the clubhead on plane during the swing, and on "releasing" the club properly at impact. This device helps with that - there is a tension in the rubber band which remains constant through the swing. If the tension changes during the swing, it means the club is coming off plane. Whether it would be as helpful to someone who just purchased it on their own, I don't know. The instructions that come with it speak of the device getting you to relax your hands during the swing, which is something I haven't found it to be particularly helpful with. But for the purposes that my pro suggested, it is helpful. It is quite small and comes with a little carrying pouch. I actually keep it in my golf bag to use occasionally at the driving range or before a round, when I feel like I need to "tune up" my swing a bit.

Maybe best for high handicappers needing a clue
It is well constructed. The clamp could use some improvement with a rubber surface to grip the shaft instead of just plastic. The device does set certain angles correctly if you maintain the tension of the band. You can still go OTT or make a variety of mistakes with it so it is not a cure all solution. This is not a device to help you find "the slot" but does help keep the hand to club head relationship constant. The biggest problem is that after using it for 20 minutes I couldn't use a club until the "medicine ball" effect wore off. The head of my pitching wedge felt like it weighed 10Lbs. I couldn't hold it steady at address as it kept sinking to the ground. A very strange feeling that was disturbing. Almost like a giant magnet in the earth was pulling it down. Just not for me.

Excellent trainer and practice tool.
Excellent feedback about your swing. The tension allows you to feel and practice what a good swing is. You can practice indoors then take it to the range and hit balls.

It didn't work for me !!!
The velcro strap did not stay on my arm. Maybe it was my massive guns, that prevented the strap from staying connected. This product was suppose to give you the feel of a tour players swing, and I did not think it achieved it. It also comes with limited(paper) instructions that don't really tell you how to use it. Maybe a video with simple drills could have made the user experience better. t
