Great product for my indoor growing project

Convenient way to add a lighting fixture without hiring an electrician. This socket and cord set is the easiest and the cheapest way to add a light fixture without having to hire an electrician. This socket-cord set will allow you to add any light bulb that uses a standard socket. You can add a traditional socket incandescent light bulb or you can use the newer energy efficient LED bulbs. The set comes with wall hooks for easy attachment to walls and ceilings. I use mine to hold a Swiftrans LED grow light. The set up is used to light a small orange tree in my shaded patio. The patio received indirect sunlight and the citrus tree needed more light in order to bloom. The addition of the 24 watt grow light has been effective. The tree has been blooming. It takes two weeks to see the results. The cord is soft and easy to handle. The small on/off switch at the end is easy to use. This is a good way to add light without the need to hire an electrician to install light sockets. Do keep in mind that this product is not rated for outdoor use. It will be fine under a sheltered patio but do not put it where the on/off switch will get wet. Lastly, do not use this unit for infrared heat lamps. Use a product with a ceramic socket for those infrared heat lamps used in reptile tanks. Highly recommended.
