Worked great for what my daughter needed. Size was good sleek and slim. Good value for what we got reads cards we've needed read.

Unreliable USB-C adapter. Not suitable for CAC enabled PC / laptops.

Worked seamlessly in both Windows 10 and 11 computers.No additional drivers needed.LED to indicate operational status after card inserted. A good and necessary feature for me.One piece unit with USB C socket incorporated into solid plastic body is just what I prefer!Folding units have been disastrous for me: I've managed to break a few after forgetting them in a pocket. I'm told I'm too rough with small electronics. LOL. This sturdy little gem is one piece, no permanently connected wires or protuberances. Feels like something which will hold up to my unfortunate occasional rough handling.In summary, I love the simplicity of design. Comes with generic (good!) USB cord, easily replaceable if you're on the road and have forgotten to pack the one which came with the unit.Recommended!

Got this for my laptop and it does work but you have to move the card around and get it just right or it won't read. There are better ones out there that work every time. Won't be buying this brand again

If you’re military and trying to use this for a CAC reader it will not be recognized when you’re trying to log into any portal, waste of money
