Q: What are the two blue tooth modes for? And how exactly does one charge the mouse?

Dear Customer, Two Bluetooth mode and USB mode connection means you can connect three different devices at the same time and easily switch between them by changing the mode. To charge the mouse, plug the included USB-C to USB-A cables into the mouse and laptop respectively. The charging indicator light turns blue when charging, and turns off when charging is complete. Please Note: 1. Please use our standard charging cable to charge the mouse 2. Use the output 5V charger or directly use the USB port of the computer to charge the mouse. Do not use the fast charger to charge the mouse. 3. USB connection to charge the mouse does not allow it to work as a "wired" mouse.

Q: How do I know if it is charging or fully charged?

Below the DPI button, there is a pinhole-sized charging indicator. The charging indicator light turns blue when charging, and turns off when charging is complete.
