Usborne My Very First Reading Library 50 Books Set Collection Pack Early Level 1 and 2

Arrived in perfect condition. Really like the option of sharing reading in the first reading books, some humour in the stories and more engaging than the school provided ones, so thought we would try a different brand and he is much more engaged with these. (Reception age). There are little prompts at the end to revisit the story and these are great to discuss what we read together. So happy to have got these on offer, an absolute bargain of great quality books.

Usborne quality. The set has 22 books for beginner readers, where letters are introduced step by step + others more advanced. My little one is too young yet, but she already showed an interest. Stories are short and cute, and keep the child interested with fun images. It's my 3rd Usborne set and I'm happy with all 3.

Excellent set of books for young children

My son is thoroughly enjoying his little library. He’s 5 so has been completing the phonics sounds at school, but the earlier books are great for practice and reinforcement. The 28 books at level 1 and 2 are fantastic. My son has a real sense of achievement after reading a book all by himself, and they are actual stories he can follow the plot of with “exciting moments” that encourage him to read on, unlike many of the other brands I have tried.

High quality books. Love how it is differentiated to allow for progression as well as provide opportunity to develop comprehension. Wish we had this when my oldest was learning to read. My daughter (4) loves them and can't wait to read at least one new book a day. Highly recommend these and wish schools had them. More kids would learn to read. As it is the books she gets sent home with are inaccessible to her and would put her off learning.

My 6 years Son loves to read these books everyday. He has improved his reading skills a lot. He completed the USBORNE phonics readers set and now started with these library series. Diagraphs & sounds in each books helps the kids to blend the words easily. I would highly recommend and would continue buying the library series from USBORNE.

MUy buena compra. yo diría que imprescindible. A los niños les encanta y les motiva. Cada día leemos uno. Están muy bien porque además de que van por niveles, en cada cuentos hay una cantidad limitada de vocabulario nuevo , lo que permite que lo puedan inferir y aprender por el contexto. el resto de vocabulario se repite mucho en todos los cuentos de la colección. las ilustraciones fabulosas y relacionadas con el texto, con lo que te evitan tener que traducir la mayoría de las veces. otra ventaja es que son tan famosos que en youtube hay muchos videos subidos de niños ingleses leyendolos, con lo que si dudas de tu pronunciación puedes buscarlo en youtube y ponerle el video a tus hijos para que aprendan a leerlo con buena pronunciación. las historias son muy interesantes y les gustan mucho. Estoy encantada cn la compra. De hecho los estamos acabando x segunda vez y ya he pedido el otro pack niveles 3 y 4.

Ottimo set di libri per avvicinare i bambini alla lettura! Ho iniziato a leggerli con mio figlia ogni sera a partire dai 3 anni, facendole scegliere in autonomia 2-4 storie a sera. I racconti sono brevi, coinvolgenti e perfetti per creare una routine serale piacevole. Unica pecca: i libretti dedicati al rafforzamento dei suoni specifici non sono moltissimi, sono circa una ventina. Avrei apprezzato una maggiore varietà in questa fase prima del passaggio ai libri per lettori più autonomi, che presentano caratteri più piccoli e meno adatti alla lettura condivisa adulto/bambino. Detto questo, il cofanetto resta molto valido: è ben fatto, colorato e stimolante. I bambini si affezionano ad alcune storie, che vogliono rileggere più volte, il che è ottimo per consolidare i gruppi di suoni e rendere la lettura un’esperienza positiva e ripetitiva.

These were purchased as a gift. The family I purchased them for have really enjoyed using them nightly for bedtime stories. They are wonderful books to help a child learn how to read!
