Highly recommend for mommy/daddy & me project!
This robot kit is awesome. I bought it to work together with my fairly advanced 3 year old. It’s very easy to assemble - it is very “Lego-esque” in the instructions, shapes and piece intersections. If your child is Lego-savvy, they will probably be able to complete this project on their own. We were able to get it done in 3-4 hours total. My daughter was able to click a lot of the pieces together and help count and find the pieces herself. The final product (Model A) is an adorable robot to at moves around very well via the remote and makes some pretty entertaining and emotional sounds. My daughter loves playing with it and can use remote fairly well on her own - she’s been chasing the cats around our living room and kitchen with it for over an hour now! Defiantly my favorite art/craft/project purchase in months! Highly recommend.

Great gift for children who are into legos and robots. The materials were acceptable for children in 1st grade on up. The toy can be made into different toys, but only if it interlock with legos would have been fun.

My 6 year old loves this thing. He gets up every morning and runs to it. If you’re thinking of getting it, totally worth it. The battery lasts a while

This is not suitable for the 8–10 age range. My 9.5-year-old, who builds Lego without issue, became frustrated and gave up. We ended up assembling both kits ourselves, which completely defeats the purpose. Cute robot, but much too complex.
