So beautiful colors
It is great to have an OLED monitor which grab you to OLED monitors world with no back to other panels like IPS,VA, etc.. Everything about this monitor is perfectly fine. The colors are amazing the HDR and the clarity. I just liked it. Also, MSI offers you a 3 years burn warranty so you will be fine. The weird thing that I ordered model MSI 271qpx e2 with 240hz. But I received the 271qpx version without the e2 which have a refresh rate of 360hz but I am fine with it because it is actually an upgrade not a downgrade 😁

OLED is truly incredible, my old monitor had a va panel, and the upgrade is so huge! the vibrant colors, the inky deep blacks, it's truly awesome The monitor has a glossy panel, so bright lights can reflect of it, therefore I recommend putting it in a light-controlled enviroment. the monitor comes with a displayport cable, and an HDMI cable. however, the power plug is a us plug not a uk plug. the stand is very easy to install, and doesn't require any extra tools. I've also noticed some considerable eye-strain and headaches, but using the warm preset and lower brightness vastly helped with that.

A very good-valued oled monitor that offers extraordinary features among all the oled monitor options out there with some things people should know before buying. This is a fantastic oled panel that basically have all the benefits of an oled display that you could ask for and even few more useful features for itself. First of all, this specific model is mainly distributed online and it is a 2024 model(thats what the E2 in the name means) and while some people like me who like to do research may find this specific monitor have a previous model that shares an identical name but without “E2”, and see the difference on the refresh rate. On the older one it is 360hz instead of 240hz on this E2 model. Hold on, I know but wait, don’t run to that product page yet, let me finish. This new E2 model offers something that most previous(models earlier than 2023) oled panels don’t have. Which is MSI their own qd-oled protections. As most people know, one of oled’s most lethal drawback is the burn-in issue. Secondly the color accuracy, and text clarity. But on the 271qpx qd-oled e2, these issues are carefully solved and decently improved on. I would even say this is their attempt to make an oled panel that is actually good for professional productivity users, since it has an absolutely amazing level of color range and accuracy, here is the specs(i pulled from their website, and i have also received a test certificate to prove for it) sRGB: ~138.4 % • DCI-P3: ~99.1 % • Adobe RGB: ~98 % • Certified DisplayHDR True Black 400 • Delta E ≤ 2 (factory calibration) for color accuracy claim For anyone who doesn’t know, this is already a fantastic level for professional to make industrial level content. For comparison, Typical high-end IPS monitor: sRGB 99%, DCI-P3 90–95%, Adobe RGB 85–90%, HDR 400. So it’s very impressive on this aspect. As for few of it’s things that maybe you should be cautious about, one, it has a noise-making coli for it’s internal power(that’s my way to put it since I am not an electrician) if you put your ear closely you would hear the constant sizzing sound. But personally I wouldn’t really care nor notice it that much since it’s quite subtle and only audible if you are literally putting your ears onto the back of it which I don’t think normal users would. Plus when gaming most people will put on a headphone which makes it impossible to hear it. Secondly, I would say more importantly, is most MSI monitor lack of G-sync. Including this one, and instead it only has FreeSync. I will not go to deep on explaining what it is, people who know, they know, if don’t, it’s a quick google question. The simplest but a bit sharp way I would put it is this is not a monitor for users with lower end setups(older, weaker GPU and CPU) that cannot confidently provide constant high FPS and performance, since its VRR is only supported from 48-240hz, any case if your FPS drops below 48 for any reason, you will experience white flickering and tearing, which it’s not something anyone will like. However, for users like myself that use a 5070ti and a Macbook Pro M3 chip, I’ve never experienced such issues. That is to ensure turn OFF the FreeSync if you have a good setup, turning it on when you don’t need it can cause the problem. And lastly, this product comes with a short power cable that is only 1m long, consider it when you are setting up your space. I’ve convered basically all I have experienced with this monitor, this is a fantastic OLED monitor that tile more for professional with a reasonable budget in mind. It is a valuable for an oled with latest tech to actually extend its own lifespan and offers the premium look and user experience that no other type of panels could. Also, no need to mention but I will still bring it up, it’s also an implacable choice for gamers too, just like any oled panels out there but with potential longer lifespan and ability to handle professional imaging work as well.

I purchased the monitor during Black Friday for a great price! I chose this monitor because I appreciate the quality build of the MSI brand. I previously owned the MSI Optix G27C5, a 1080p / 165 Hz monitor. I recently upgraded my PC build so I wanted a monitor to match its power. I was not disappointed with the MSI 271 QPX OLED. This monitor looks like a mirror when it is off because of its glossiness. Compared to my previous monitor, the icon / text sizes were different because of the enhanced resolution. However, I resolved it by adjusting the scaling in the Windows “display” settings. The Pros: HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4 240 Hz is visually smooth as expected Colors are great Text is clear and sharp OLED Care features to prevent burn-in 3-year burn-in warranty The Cons: Not a curved screen The stand is a bit bulky and can take up some desk space (VESA arm/mount can resolve this) Overall a great purchase with the quality, display resolution, and functions as expected. I would recommend this monitor.

The color accuracy is great and brightness level well above what is the minimum that I require. The refresh rate (240hz) is quite the bonus along with the response rate (0.03), but the true star is the contrast levels and the color's brightness. The software and navigation is quite comfortable and intuitive and MSI has enabled the use of updates for this model which helps further with color accuracy and other quality of life improvement. And talking about quality of life I suggest using MSI QOLED Care as much as possible to avoid burn-in and it takes just a couple of minutes every 4 hours which is reasonable. It is a great monitor and a really good upgrade from a VA panel, not as bright as the Mini Led but bright enough for 80 to 90% of the people and HDR is impressive thanks to the blacks and 0 bleeding, but it is not going to blind you for ever as miniled (I do enjoy the light blasts but compromises are necessary). If you can get it at a discount it probably one of the if not the best option out there for the price point.
