Had to come back and buy it again!
I originally bought one of these about a month ago just to try it out, and honestly I didn’t expect to love it this much. The formula is super moisturizing without feeling sticky, and it gives the perfect natural tint that makes your lips look healthy and juicy. After using it consistently, I noticed my lips stayed hydrated longer and looked smoother overall. The shine is beautiful but not over-the-top, and it’s perfect for everyday wear. What made me come back is how comfortable it feels no dryness, no weird taste, and it layers really well. I also love having different shades in this set so I can switch it up depending on my mood. Definitely worth it in my opinion. If you’re thinking about trying it, just do it you’ll probably end up coming back for more like I did!

The best lip oil tint out there
I have always loved Nooni ever since I discovered it a few years ago. My lips are so pale on my skin, I always look deathly ill without some sort of lift stain or lipstick. But I don't always want to wear a lipstick, do I ? This lip oil is not sticky at all and feels hydrating and soft on my lips. Plus, it gives me the long-lasting tint that I'm looking for. I don't always want to or have the time to look in the mirror and check if I still have lipstick or color. This lip oil has the tint that lasts through eating and drinking. Somebody mentioned that the colors are too bright. Perhaps for a fair-skinned person, it is bright but if you are medium to tan, these will work well. This particular set has Applepeony, Appleberry and Appleplum. In my experience both Applepeopny and Appleberry give the least color payoff for me because even though the natural tone of my lips are pale in contrast to my skin color, it is still in the shade of mauve. Therefore, these two don't give me too much extra tint. The Appleplum is surpisingly more warm than I'm expecting, rather than tending towards a cooler purple tint. Nooni has since come up with many other colors that I've gravitated towards for more color-payoff, therefore better longevity. Of the new colors, I like apple wine, applecranberry and appleginseng the best. I will have to try the even newer ones that came out this year. I have wasted so much money trying several drugstore to high-end lip tints, American and Kroean-made a I just keep coming back to Nooni. It sounds like they should sponsor me by now (they haven't) and I wolud welcome it if it comes.

Hydrating and Pretty, but Turns Bright Pink on Pale Skin
I picked up this lip oil from nooni (in appleblacktea) after seeing it all over social media, and I can see why people like it, but the color ended up being a bit different on me than I expected. First, the formula itself is really nice. It feels lightweight, smooth, and genuinely hydrating without being sticky. It gives a glossy, healthy look to the lips and feels comfortable to wear. The main thing to know is that this is a pH-reactive lip product. That means it changes color based on your individual skin chemistry. The formula reacts with the natural pH of your lips and develops into a personalized shade, which is why it can look so different from person to person. On me, with very pale, cool-toned skin, it turned into a fairly bright, cool pink. It’s definitely more vibrant than I was hoping for. A lot of the swatches I saw online were on deeper skin tones where it looked more subtle and natural, but on me it reads much brighter. Because of that, I actually wish the color payoff were a bit softer. The lip oil itself is so nice that I’d love to reapply it freely throughout the day, but if I layer it too much, my lips end up looking pretty intensely pink. I added photos for reference, immediately after application, after 5 minutes, and after 15 minutes. You can see it cools down quite a bit and turns a truer pink tone. What works best for me is using just a small dab and then either blotting it down or topping it with a clear gloss. That way I still get the hydration and a soft flush without the color becoming overwhelming. Overall, this is a really nice lip oil in terms of texture and hydration. Just be aware that the pH color can pull quite bright, especially on lighter skin tones.

Fragranced, comfortable, flattering, long lasting tints.
The lip oil set is nice, but the colors could be a little more different from each other. There is a slight difference in color when swatched on the arm, but on the lips they look basically the same. I tried one on each half of my lips at the same time, and couldn’t really tell much of a difference. Both are basically a pink shade. They are fragranced differently. They both are pleasant, and non offensive. Their scents match their namesakes, peony and raspberry with a hint of apple. The oils themselves live up to their names, they are very oily, with lots of slip. They feel pretty much the same on the lips. They both moisturized and made my lips look a little fuller. They are both very comfortable to wear. They are not sticky or tacky at all. The oil/gloss part is long lasting for something so emollient. They have pretty good tinting power as well. I wiped the oil swatches off my arm with a dry paper towel and was left with a nice tint in their place. These swatches were very long lasting. The tints are very close in shade, one is marginally more red than the other. They are buildable, due to their staining and staying power. So, you can see a little more of a difference in shade when they are built up and layered over time. I like that the names are printed on the lids. I appreciate that they come with a little sticker seal on them as well. The doe foot applicator isn’t my favorite, it’s a little firm and not as soft as I like. It’s more similar to a felt covered paddle brush than a doe foot applicator. The angle of the doe foot applicator does make applying the oil easy. Overall I think these are nice comfortable lip oils, in flattering shades, with long lasting tints.

Longtime fan of these
I have been a longtime fan of Nooni and have been using these lip oils almost daily since I discovered them. I have tried probably 6 different colors by now and can confidently say the end look really doesn’t vary all that much. The Appleberry seems to be their signature color because it’s offered in all the multipacks. It’s the color I use most often and it’s completely wearable. The AppleWine was new to me and is a little bit darker but the same general shade of pink on my lips. (If you drink when you wear these you will see the same pink color on your cup.) it is immediately darker when you put it on so I do think there’s more pigment (dye?) in it. If you wear any of them for awhile and reapply after it soaks in a little it will get much brighter, so they are definitely buildable. I love wearing these because they actively moisturize my lips with a very comfortable feel without being totally coated in goop but they also provide a nice wearable pop of color. I don’t find them sticky-feeling but if your hair blows on your lips it will stick. They feel like a gloss/oil combo and it truly feels like it hydrates my lips while I’m wearing them as opposed to drying them out or just sitting on top. I wear these almost constantly just around the house to feel a little more put-together but also when I go out. They are small tubes but they last a long time on my lips so I don’t have to reapply very often.

Thick and shiny
Both of these lip oil set items add a subtle color to lips, one stronger than the other. It will transfer to items. If it gets rubbed it will smear off lips. It is decently thick, doesn't feel sticky, and has a nice subtle smell. I have a really sensitive sense of smell/allergies, and it doesn't bother me. It is moisturizing and does eventually soak in, and you will need re-applicartion. It is very shiny, for those that love shine. If you are looking for something that you expect it will transfer and don't mind, and love a very subtle tint, this may be the things for you!
