Excellent SPF with nourishing coconut and the product protected very well. It's a thick cream like texture and it didn't cause any clogging or unsightly side effects. I wish there was a 50 but 25 will suffice my needs as I wear a hat in the sun. If you're looking for a mineral based cream Shade is perfect.

Used on African Holiday. Worked wonderfully.Its a chemical free, natural sunscreen aha really works!! The tin contains a solid white cream that is fragrance free. It was hot where i was so it was smooth to apply but I imagine in colder weather (ski resorts etc) you might need to rub the surface a little to warm it up. I was worried that the oils and butters would have been to greasy for my face but i was fine and suffered no breakouts as a result of using it (though when in the UK my skin tends to be on the drier side, so if you have oily skin test it out first).I have darker skin so I found that this does leave a whitish/ grey residue- due to the non- nano zinc, fair skin may not experience this problem. However, I found that this can be minimised in 2 ways;1) Exfoliate your skin before using it. I found out this works by accident. After 2 days of grey tinge on my face (i looked as though i was getting ready for some kind of tribal ceremony), on the third day I applied the screen after I had washed my face with a face scrub and I found the product was able to absorb into my skin much better, so there was really very little whiteness left behind.2) Use the screen 20-30 mins before you are ready to go out. I found that after this time, the whitishness faded. esp. when the weather was very hot.And don't be put off by the size, it lasts for ages! I was away for 3 weeks and still have 80% left (just me using it).I love the fact that there are no nasty chemicals and so few ingredients.It is not fragrancedI got no burnt bits and no heat rash and this was in 34 degree heat!!I would recommend reapplying if you plan to swim or if you sweat a lot but i did not do either of these things and only applied twice per day and was fine.I would definitely recommend.

✔️ works very well, i went to mexico in the summertime with very high UV radiation, from having no sun in the UK it stopped me from being sunburnt✔️ eco friendly and reef safe, all natural ingredients✔️ no synthetic chemicals unlike other brands which cause cancer❌ gives a sticky feeling on the handsoverall cannot complain i will definitely buy next year and recommend this to others

Bought this product due to it being all natural and non toxic. It does what it is supposed to however I found it very thick and hard to work in. This made it virtually impossible to use on my 4 year old and even nearly on myself. I bought during the recent heatwave in June so even in heat it didn't appear to soften for me. The white cast was also very prominent which provided peace of mind regarding coverage but even a few hours later I still looked pale (face). Again this is a positive for longevity and coverage however, I couldn't get on with it, it felt very heavy on and my 4 year old eventually refused to let me apply it. Sadly not suitable for use personally despite reallt wanting to love it.

Natural Sunscreen with SPF 25 - offers good sun protection when careful with application and reapplied as needed. I have bought this Shade sunscreen a few times and will definitely buy it again. It is very portable in the tin, no worries about liquid spillage. Easy to apply, may leave a white residual on the skin but that is just the zinc oxide which provides the protection. It does have a scent to it, which my partner did not like but as my sense of smell is non existent, it did not bother me at all. I will take that over chemical filled sunscreen. Lasted me 7 days on holiday this year.

Worst sunscreen I have ever used - leaves a massive white cast on face which makes me look like I’ve been caked in foundation. 100% do not recommend to people of colour (fyi I am a fair weatish tone and this still left me with paley white patchiness all over my face) I want to personally get this dealt with as there is no wy I am able to use this product I purchased further

Absolutely love this! Great natural suncream and leaves skin feeling really soft. I also use this as a moisturiser, it’s great for dry skin. Just need to rub it in properly to get rid of the whiteness.
