I bought them as overhead microphone stands for drum recording, a bit lightweight than expected, however they worked as expected at a good price.

The Mic Stands look and feel great, except the mics we have (RODEPOD) are really heavy, and these are not strong enough to stand on their own, so we needed to add sandbags to hold them in place and up, still bending the mic arms. Otherwise, they look and feel great with a carry bag , which is nice, they are lightweight and good for weddings and parties , not for everyday use

I strongly debated between a 4 and a 3. They are not as heavy duty as I was hoping and the boom didn’t hold position as much as I feel like it should have. But they worked fine for what I was doing. And they were economical enough to meet my budget.

These stands suck they can barley hold any weight and both snapped at the same segment
