Q: Hello! Can this radar operate wirelessly (by batteries) without car cigarette lighter adapter? I have Tesla Model Y so don't have a cigarette adapter.

No. Also, you have a cigarette lighter in the middle console. I have a model 3. Bought a phone mount and stuck it to the back of the screen, and got a long flat cord for the radar detector and tucked it in to the middle console trim and run to the plug on the inside.

Q: Are these 'brand new' units ? uniden says they will honor warranty as long as the unit is purchased brand new.

The one one that i received was brand new.

Q: Looking for stealth technology. Is there anything out there that will disguise my car as an ostrich when going faster than speed limit?

No. There are laser only that scramble the signal. Very expensive and only justified if you have a lot of laser guns in your area
