Braille Alphabet Bookmark

This is really good. The bookmark is really neat and all the more useful as it fits in my handbag or diary so easily. It is very clear and the braille dots are raised. I have had lots of people in work asking me where I got it from as they want one too. I'd recommend this especially if you work or live with someone learning or needing to check braille. I didn't like the way it is sold ie the bookmark was 99p and the postage extremely high considering it is thin and fits in a normal envelope. More honesty with the price would be better. It is an invaluable resource for my work.

Overall a great product. As a Braillist myself I gave 3 stars for the following reasons: the way that it is made doesn’t allow it to last long. When I received the product some dots were already faint. My suggestion would be to either use an adhesive plastic paper or a plastic card for long-lasting effect. I understand that the price would be higher but I wouldn’t mind paying for well-made product. As I said, overall a great product. I gave it to someone for their birthday and they really liked it.

Small, as you can imagine, being a bookmark... It is good quality and does the job! Very clear Braille. You can use it as a on-the-go learning resource.

Crap item

Useful to have as a on the go item while I'm attempting to learn braille. I did think the dots would be more raised so I was disappointed by that.

I learned to read the dots and identify the letters. The only problem was that I found the dots difficult to feel with my fingers - I don't know how raised the dots normally are - and one letter had one dot missing so impossible to read with fingertips. But a good introduction to braille for a still sighted person.
