ATARI 7800+

This neat device met my expectations and has also met a desire ever since I owned an original Atari 7800. You now get to play the games with a beautiful crystal clear picture. Unfortunately it doesn't have the built in Asteroids game the original machine has but it does come with a nice platforming game on cartridge. It's 60% the size of the original and recreates the feel of the original well. Comes with a wireless pad but it also works with the original wired pads I still own.

Fantastic item that plays original 2600 & 7800 games. Made up to date with wireless controller and HDMI output. Product is made to a very high quality and a wonderful replica of the original Atari 7800.

2600 compatability very good, just make sure you give your games a good clean first, controller is amazing, comes with a USB dingle so you can use it on pc aswell as the 7800

If your a big fan of your retro gaming this is the one to have,I had an Xbox 1s bought for me one xmas sold it within 3 months. Looked for something I can just plug and play and don't need a degree to play! Looks good,works well and does play any old carts you have from old 2600/7800 systems(played pole position on it yesterday). If your an 80s child like me then you can't go wrong.

Having purchased the 2600+ earlier in the year I was disappointed by the laggy firmware; and lack of support for original controllers. However, with the 7800+ they seem to have rectified this I can now play Indy 500 with the original driving controllers and most of the 2600 games don’t feel as laggy. This is by no means a replacement for the original console as this cannot be beaten, but if you want a quick gaming fix without the hassle of plugging in the controllers and tripping over wires than this is the solution, the wireless game pad works with most games. The console looks great as well - well done Atari.

Petite mise à jour: la derniere mise à jour de la console permet désormais de jouer aux jeux (2600) Champ Games avec processeur ARM(pour les connaisseurs) ! Enchanté par cette console , je ne suis pas fan des mini , déja elle est pas si mini que ça , juste un peu plus compacte que l'originale.Ici c'est comme à l'époque , on met son jeu dans le port cartouche, on joue , pas d'options superflues,pas de jeux préinstallés,on joue qu'aux jeux 2600 et 7800, on joue pas à la NES , à la Mega Drive avec...J'aime la qualité de fabrication exemplaire,la parfaite réplique du gamepad,et le sans fil est vraiment un plus.Prises DB9 pour y brancher les gamepads d'époque si on veut.Possibilité de mettre la console à jour, il y a un bon suivi de tout les petites incompatibilités qui peuvent apparaitre, voir les forums Atari Age.J'aime aussi et c'est le gros bon point la possibilité de jouer avec les jeux americains , le 60 hertz !!! C'est de l'émulation bien sur,mais cela permet un prix raisonnable, quand on voit le tarif des consoles FPGA d'Analogue... Donc bien sur quelques jeux homebrew ne passeront pas,il faut donc garder sa vieille console pour ça si on l'a.Il est clair que cette console a été pensée par et pour les fan ! Pour résumer si vous voulez revivre l'experience originale sur TV moderne avec un affichage moderne,foncez !

Un gran bel tuffo nel passato. Pur avendo la vecchia 2600 junior ho preso la 7800+ per passione e devo dire che è veramente un ottima riedizione.
