Works surprisingly well!!
This is surprisingly good. I didn't think it would work as well as it did as I've had trouble bonding with other brands that say they are for plastics. Using the two part process this worked really well bonding a rubbery plastic like the type board game figures are made of. I tried a poly cement and it failed but this stuff really grabbed well! I have also used it for the slightly flexible Airfix figures I can't vouch for it's stability over time, but for now it feels good and strong The amount is quite small but was fine for the small jobs I needed to do

Excellent stuff - saved me a heap of cash!!!!
I have used the Loctite Super Plastix many times and it has never failed to deliver. With just one of these uses it saved me nearly £30.00. How? Well, a plastic part inside my VCR (yes, I still have one of those!) broke which meant it would not rewind or fast-forward tapes. Checking out the part online for availability/price, I found it was only available from the U.S. and in total would have cost me about £30 delivered (perhaps more, if subjected to customs charges). As I am able to do my own repairs on such things, I did not have to factor in labour charges, but I won't even hazard a guess as to what the real total figure could have reached otherwise!!! I decided to try and glue the part using this stuff, but to be honest I was skeptical it would work. Even if it did, I thought it wouldn't last as the part that broke off is quite small and is constantly under pressure from a very powerful spring. I followed the instructions to the letter, glued the part back and reassembled the VCR's mechanism. I tested rewind/fast-forward and so far so good. We don't use the VCR much, so even if only lasted a few weeks/months it would have been better than expected. That was over 2 years ago!!! Rewind/FF on the VCR is still going strong. It seemed to 'melt' then 're-harden' the two pieces at the join, making it as good as-new. Amazing stuff for gluing most types of plastic - can't recommend it enough, but to get good results make sure you follow the instructions verbatim.

Works great but quite small
Works really well but unfortunately not a lot of glue and after first use difficult to get the lid off. But it did fix what I bought it for

Gluing polypropylene.
This glue is superb I used it to glue two containers of polypropylene together. Just use the activator on both surfaces the wait about 1 minute the apply the glue to 1 surface then stick together. The only problem is be careful how you close the glue, i.e. the nozzle has to be clean or the cap can stick for the next time you use it. - A tip normal super glue seems to work with activator.

Highly recommend for Figure Fixes.
With careful use, it's perfect for figure fixes.

Don't bother
awful stuff, does not glue plastic with any strength at all. comes undone so easily and not great for fiddly things. normal superglue is better

Not very succesful
Works on some things but didn’t work in the items I wanted to glue together. Was fine on some plastics but not on others.

Remarkable but requires some practice
As a dad of a family that has an excess amount of plastic toys there is always a full pipeline of repair projects. For that reason its is helpful to have a range of glues, a glue gun and proper tools at hand. I’ve never been able to find good plastic glue apart from the more specific polystyrene cement. Yet, as a craft modeller I was was quite interested in a plastic glue that would allow me to construct and repair figures and soldiers made of soft plastic. On one of these craft modelling sites I was pointed to this Loctite Super Glue for Plastics. It comes in 2 parts but its not really a two-component type of glue. The first tube is more like a pen with an ‘activator’ liquid that has to be applied to both surfaces that have to be connected with the glue. Apparently this preparation softens the plastic in about 60 seconds. I didn’t quite notice the difference but applying this activator and sticking to the 60 sec wait is necessary for a satisfying outcome - if you apply the glue too early it turns white and lacks adhesiveness. Also I found that putting a good amount of pressure on the two parts straight after connecting leads to better results. I’ve repaired about 10 plastic soldiers that snapped from their base. They generally are very well welded together with the glued part being very hard and often barely visible. Have not yet tried it on other types of plastic.

Ich habe das Produkt wegen dem Stift mit dem Primer gekauft. Leider war dieser ziemlich ausgetrocknet. Für die Klebung für die ich ihn angeschafft habe scheint es noch gereicht zu haben.
