WincoStainless Steel Wok with Riveted Joint Handle, 16-Inch

I am amazed at the quality-for-price of this wok. The product is incredible - sturdy, beautiful, fast-heating, no warping or wobbling or hot handles (yes, it's solid aluminum, but due to size and length the handle never gets hot).I ordered this because I was not impressed by the quality of the woks at Walmart selling for around $40 each. This STAINLESS STEEL wok is cheaper than every large work at Walmart (at least my local one - maybe they have some cheapies online). It heats very fast, and doesn't rust like the iron models.I NEVER buy the chemicalized coated pots or pans anymore... some studies suggest there may be health consequences when it flakes into your food. Stainless steel or cast iron is the way to go.This is the kind of product I'd expect to find in an upscale Asian restaurant kitchen. The handle and rivets are super solid, and as mentioned, the main cooking bowl is perfectly round and doesn't wobble on the pan (like the set I got from big box store does). Also cooks fast, despite the LARGE size. Make sure you get the size that matches your needs. This 16" is a big 'un, not designed for cooking for 3 or less.

I used to use regular pots and pans. Wanted a wok a long time. The wok fits huge meals. One warning though, it is lightweight and must be monitored more than a regular pan. The Wok rotates in a circle if you are not holding the handle when the food isn't heavy enough to keep it from moving. Overall, this Wok is perfect. It's a purchase I should have made a long time ago and I really regret all the time I wasted wih other pots not fitting big enough meals for the family. Also, easy to clean. Anyhow, hope this review helps.

great wok. Many of the other woks are not stainless steel and they will rust, if you don't keep them oiled..this, i hope, would not rust

The dimension is incorrect. It is 4 and 3/8" X 15 and 3/4" X 22'. This is not as big or as deep as I thought it would be. Certainly not a real wok as it was claimed to be. Very disappointed. Wok' steel wall is not thick enough therefore it heats up too fast causing food to burn up. Do not buy this wok, this wok sucks big time. Also, when the food sit in the wok for a while it has metal taste and smells. I do not think this is a real stainless steel wok.
