Excellent travel adaptor with great features!
We used the adaptor for a number of appliances and the plugs worked without any issue on everything we needed. It’s very simple to use and also has safety features so that you don’t cause damage to your devices. The WiFi hotspot worked out of the box and we were able to use the data plan internationally, even for streaming like Netflix.Definitely a must have for the road warrior or the casual traveler.

Was working well until the front panel pulled off
It was working well and I was happy with it until I tired to pull the pin out of this plug and the front panel started to pull out which got me a bit worried so I stopped. I am not sure if the assembly was loose of the particular piece or is it made like that. I am hoping it was just this one coz it worked quite well otherwise. I will use it still but just be careful while taking out things.

Well, a cool device and concept but NOT free WiFi
As we prepared for our one month stay in New York city I was thinking of how I was going to connect 3 iPhones, 1 iPad, 2 computers for use with limited (actually I had no idea what the connection would be at the place we were staying). So, I saw this and ordered it.When we arrived at the apartment, I plugged this in and connected my laptop to the dedicated private network the device creates and I was off and running. I let it sit for a while when we ate dinner and came back and saw I was disconnected.I tried to connect again, but could not and found out they wanted me to purchase a coverage plan. I did not do that and instead just used my iPhone as a mobile hotspot. The device is nicely made and can work in multiple countries. I think if I was traveling to Asia or Europe, I would invest in a pre-paid plan with them for that period of time.So while it did not solve my issues on this trip, I cannot rate it bad as for that hour that I was connected it was excellent. The plans they offered seemed fairly priced. I recommend going to the GlocalMe website and research the plans first.

Cool adapter with global internet! So innovative!
I bring this device on all my international trips! I used it in Europe and Asia, and worked wondered!Having 4G internet when I need it is a huge plus. It comes with some free data, and when that runs out, I can easily buy more on the GlocalMe app, no contract.

A forever necessity
Finally got to use while traveling the UK and it’s been amazing. Zero complaints, everything’s flawless (though I wish it were just white). The shift between socket types, changed by the sliders on the side is smooth like butter and feels extremely sturdy. My boyfriend lives in the UK (I’m US) and we love to travel, so this is staying with me forever

Not Great UI or Features
The User Interface (UI) of this device is not exactly user-friendly, and although its hot spot does work, it's slow, kludgy, not very secure and just not great. One of the most annoying things about this device is its Manual, which tries to be all things to all languages... cramming all languages together in every part of it, in SUPER TINY print...The only REASONABLE way to read the manual is to go over to the Vendor site and grab one from there in your preferred langauge. But even after reading the manual and fully understanding how the unit works... there's still plenty of room for disappointment here.-- HOTSPOT is woefully difficult to get working securely and well-- HOTSPOT is SLOW... at top speeds, it's only going to get up to just over 15Mbps-- HOTSPOT has no power... it either needs to be plugged in, or can use an external power block reverse feeding its USB-C port-- eSIM mobile plan on the hotspot seems to get used up faster than true data usage, which makes me wonder how they're calculating data usage, or if it's just an arbitrary algorithm designed to deplete faster, and sell more data? The Global Plugs are nice... for most of EU, UK and USA, but if you plan to be traveling to other places where there are other plugs/outlets, you might be out of luck. There's an overload protection FUSE in this device, so it's probably a good idea to travel with a spare fuse or two in your bag... just in case.Lastly, I'd say that the price tag for this device doesn't really fit with its features. If it were a truly well-done HotSpot, then it might. But travel plugs are available for ~ $10, so if that's this unit's primary usable feature... it's way over-priced. And as a hotspot, it just does not meet the bar of truly useful, being cumbersom to operate; insecure; lacking a battery; non-competitive data plans. Thus, best I could do for this would be about 2.5 out of 5... rouding up to 3

Perfect for International Travel
Very pleased with the functionality of this device. Love that it is an adapter and a hotspot in one. Multipurpose travel items are awesome! GlocalMe is one of the top data providers when I travel in the UK and the obvious quality of this product has me excited for my next trip.Speeds are on par for the average 4G hotspot device, exactly as expected.
