We Were Soldiers

Very well done portrayal of a decisive battle in Vietnam when helicopters were just beginning to be used. Mel Gibson is outstanding.

Great movie, good story, and Great actors. If you like war movies you'll love it.

Excellent movie

Great movie worth the money.

This is 2020 and this movie was released in the theaters in 2002 so it is as of right now 18 years old and is now the first time while looking around on Amazon when I was made aware that this movie even existed and don't know how this movie got past me all these years because I am a big fan of Mel Gibson who plays a lieutenant in the movie. Look at the ratings look at the 5 stars 88% as I write this review. This movie is a true story and takes place in Vietnam. It is a war movie and what else really needs to be said about that . Lots of loud gunfire lots of men getting shot lots of blood (but this movie has nothing on the movie hacksaw ridge when it comes to blood and gore) . Lots of shouting of orders lots of young men who lost their lives over what but did what they did for "OUR" country because they were made to do so back in the day. Realistic and worth watching. Which I feel all Americans should see any war movie our American men and women have fought in I feel its the least we can do to see some of what they went through and if it becomes to hard to watch it we at least as we sit in our homes and on our comfortable chairs can shut it off it it becomes to much but when your a soldier you don't have that privilege. Recommend it to everyone and is rated R.

Not at great film but a good one. Looks terrific in high def and sounds even better.

A Classic that should be on 4k! But just as important is the case was sturdy and no plastic warp sticking to it. Inside the case was clean from the production line. Discs were clean and perfect. Well done Paramount! Others should take notes and use the same manufacturer. In the past I had to return movies because the case were broken, loose disc inside that got scratched and dirty cases inside. Well done!

If you served in Vietnam or lived through the latter 1960s into the early 1970s, this video may touch you in a special way. Personally, it did me!

Saw movie many times. Great movie to watch. Sure puts your mind in touch what our soldiers than and now really go through. No problems with this disc perfect to watch.

War and Helicopters 🚁 absolutely a stunning visual . This movie 🎥 is amazing. The battle scenes are riveting. You feel the bullets flying bye, like you’re right there in the middle of the war. Many casualties on both sides. Mothers, wives and children, waiting for husbands and fathers to come home 🏠 safe and sound. Una extraordinaria película para los amantes del cine bélico. EL transfer a blu-ray no decepciona en cuestión de imágen, aunque podría ser mejor. Incluye algunos extras y escenas eliminadas aunque no se compara al material extra de la edición de 2 discos en Dvd que salió hace algún tiempo y que sólo incluía el audio original y Subtitulos en Español. Esta Edición en Blu-ray contiene el Audio en Español Latino Original que es una gran noticia después de escuchar los terribles nuevos doblados que están sacando en algunas ediciones nuevas como en el caso de Corazón Valiente o algunas de Disney. También incluye subtitulos en Español para quien guste de oirla en su idioma original. Algo también a considerar, es que se encuentra con bastante frecuencia disponible para envío rápido, yo la compré una mañana y ya por la tarde estaba disfrutándola cómodamente en mi sala. El envío llego sin problemas y en perfecto estado, eso sí, mi eterna queja es y siempre serán las nuevas cajas de reciclaje con la que estan llegando ahora las películas, y esta no fue la excepción.
