This was mounted/dismounted as needed on the front bumper of a 50" wide side by side ATV for night riding using the included magnetic base and further secured using gaffers tape with the coiled power cable easily reaching up and over the front deck, under the half wind screen reaching the 12v cigarette lighter connection.The on/off switch is at the plug connection which making it very easy to turn on and off underway. The light remained in place without incident for more than 200 miles of night time ATV trail riding and exceeded expectations in lighting the trail and makes the actual headlights seem dim and yellow. It's a must for night riding and an ideal size and brightness. It's not permanently mounted and is carried in the pickup along with a 10' 12v cigarette lighter extension cable. Highly recommend this for any night time use--vehicle emergency, cutting firewood, camping, trailer hookup, mowing, snow shoveling, etc-- within 12v lighter reach. The huge cooling fins made me worry it would run hot but it runs cool to the touch. A very good purchase. (one caveat: the carry handle--not the magnetic base--was mal-formed in aluminum casting and broke when i over stressed it trying to straighten it.)

Easy to assemble. Super bright. strong magnetic base. Comes with a coil cord that stretches 4-5' and has a cigarette lighter type plug on the end. I'm using this on my Kubota B2650 as a rear light for my three point snowblower. I originally stuck it on the outside of my ROPS and quickly found out that that was a bad idea as the light got knocked of by a tree while doing some logging work in the woods and I ran over my brand new light with the rear tire of a 3,500 lb+ tractor. On a brighter note, this light was completely undamaged save for a few bent cooling fins. I found the best place to stick the light is on the back of the seat as it is metal. I am ordering another one of these for the front as the headlights are blocked when the bucket of the loader is lifted even a slight amount

I was expecting a weak magnet but the one I got is really strong. Even on the cheap, thin sheet metal of a Ford Transit Connect door it holds very securely and actually bends the panel when you remove it. I'm super happy with it. Attached it to a steel support in our warehouse and it took two hands to pull it off. This is a good, versatile work light and I'm super happy with it. It's a flood pattern, so it's a great light to stick on your van and light up a staging area when you're loading in the dark. It's bright enough to be used as a reverse light on a truck or an area light on a tractor but definitely doesn't have the beam pattern or projection to be used as a forward-facing light for a fast moving vehicle. The only downside for my application is that you need tools to adjust it. It's not a quick-adjust kind of thing.

I used the light continuously for 3+ hours after I got it. It worked perfectly, throwing a broad beam. The magnetic mount is quite strong but I don't think I'd try it on a moving vehicle. The mag mount is great for moving the light to where you are working around the car. In my case I faced it to the front to work in this light plus the headlights and then turned it around to load into the pickup bed.

I set this up today when it became dark. I live in a mobile home and our community uses "new" LED lamps but they're kind of wimpy. The lamps are about 12 feet high up, and even those bulbs are fairly dim. So my SUV Saturn Vue headlights are only from 35 inches from my hood. The lamp posts are too tall but the asphalt pavement and sidewalks are quite dark. I think it was a badly engineered installation job. I drive through the big mobile park for my small son's school bus every morning around 6:30 am. Then return back to my home again afterward. When it's foggy, I have difficulty seeing the edging of the sidewalks, other cars along the parallel parking on illegal streets, etc. We also have a couple stupid retired people who walk their dogs on the middle asphalt streets and wear dark clothes in the dark at dusk, in snow, and in fog. I was afraid of hitting somebody or mashing their dogs. So I put my WOW-LED magnetic mount on, and ran the coil cord into my cigarette lighter jack. So I turned off my normal headlights off, and turned on the WOW-LED on. Bingo! Two other homes were lit up next door. Then I turned on my headlights on too. I realized that my car lights were old yellowish OEM bulbs. So I'm also going to add two super white/blue powerful bulbs in my car too. But with the WOW-LED floodlight on my hood lit up the whole long driveway went almost 125 to 150 feet away from my home! All the car reflectors lit up brightly on all the street car parking spaces. Miraculous! My hood is low enough that I don't believe I'll blind any car drivers. I'll find out. If not, I'll be able to adjust the angle a bit. The WOW-LED 36W bulb is far more crisp and pure white than normal filament bulbs. I'd say my headlights are 300% brighter than before. Don't buy just the 27-Watt version though. I'm very happy. The magnet mount sticks on there very well. The plug also comes with a switch and that's nice. Maybe I'll buy another one to bleach out the whole neighborhood too! Oh yeah, I'm going to need one for my wife's car too.. The cool thing is that LEDs don't require 50+ Watt massive alternator usage, or being hard on your battery loads. If you like it, go for it.

The light was great. It put out plenty of light to see. It's great for where I live or when I get home at night time.the only thing is that the cord is a little short, instructions Wernt very clear, but overall product was great.
